I am a construction worker by trade, so reviewing tools is right up my alley. Bosch is a name brand I have dealt with alot in the construction world, I have used almost every product Bosch has in their inventory. The other day I was looking around for stuff to review, I found this compact drive guide, brand new still in the package. First off that in itself was amazing to me, I use this type of product all the time. I go through them like candy. So, how did this one escape my wrath?
The Bosch 3-1/4 inch Compact Drive Guide is a handle little gizmo that you put your different types of bits into to drive in screws or bolts. If you have a long screw with a smaller head on it, the Compact Drive Guide has a sleeve to slide over the screw, to help the bit avoid slipping off the head of the screw. I don't know how many times I have had a bit slip off the head of the screw and stab right into my finger or hand. I don't know if you have ever had this happen to you, but, believe me it smarts (it hurts in normal terminology.
The opinions in this article are my own. I do not work for, or with, the brand mentioned in this article, nor do I have any official relationship with them. I received nothing for this review nor was I paid.
