Buy these over the wood handscrew type. They cost only a bit more, but are truly one handed operation. The screw type can rotate on you if you don't have a grip on the handle. I've saved quite a bit of time using the quick release this clamp offers.

Quick, Well Made, Substantial
The clamps are extremely simple and quick. Makes clamping material an easy task especially when working alone. They are well made and the clamping mechanism is very secure. Much easier to use than the screw clamps. I don't hesitate about paying for convenience and/or quality.
