saw starts fine
The saw doesn't have starting problems you just have to know how to start a saw. I have run it for three months with no starting problems. The saw runs good but isn't the most powerful saw. It's a good value you get what you pay for. Saw cuts great

Husky Chain Saws are worth the money
I use this saw for trimming lower branches, felling trees and cutting fire wood. Always starts first or second pull and runs like a champ. Just wish the muffler was better but then that is why I wear ear plugs.

excellent purchase
Here in Arkansas we had a freak snow/ice situation on Christmas day trees / limbs down ,power out 8 days we are not prepared for this as a lawn, landscape guy I have had Stihl Shindawa and (Echo(junk) saws for years but not Husqvarna the availability of saws in this region was slim due to the weather and I needed another saw so I purchased this 240 WOW small but powerful this saw has taken on every challenge I have thrown it's way and laughed back at me I have told everyone who will listen it's the best 199.99 I have spent in some time

Not a hard starting saw
Good chain saw. Had to learn how to start a husqvarna chain saw. I had heard out on the web that people had problems starting this saw and I can see why if you tryed to start the way the way most of us are use to. But after starting it a few times and learning the husqvarna way the saw generally starts on the second or third pull. I have droped 5, 10 inch trees elms and cherry the saw has preformed well. If you noticed I did not rate the durability because it should be rated after a year. Anything before then would would not mean anything.

works great
I haven't had any starting issues. Even had it sit for a couple of months with the same gas and still started in a couple of pulls. It's cut everything I've put it to.

The small big 240
Never had a problem starting it the first time the tenth time or ever. Just follow the instructions. I do not think that I will ever need another saw for my smal holding cutting small/medium trees down, fire wood and general maintenance work around the house and the field.

Good saw for the Money
I have been using a sears brand saw for the past 8 years and finally it went down, so naturally I wanted to continue with what I have been using, well sears is now making a lower quality product, out of the box it would not stay running so I went back to sears and exchanged it for a Husqvarna. Let me tell you from the first pull I have been very pleased with this product. I cut about 4-5 cords of firewood each year which I take from tree to stove, and this saw can do it all. It has not let me down yet, I have had it for 4 months now and use it every weekend. Because of the volume of wood that I am processing now, I'm thinking of a second saw, one that has a little more power, and it will be a Husqvarna. Save your time and money and invest in a Husqvarna, you will be glad that you did.
