Details

The Makita 4-1/2 in. Angle Grinder has a labyrinth construction that seals and protects the motor and bearings from dust and debris for a long life with an additional, protective zigzag varnish that seals the motor from contaminants by forming a barrier under rotation. This UL-listed grinder provides high-output power with its 7.5 Amp motor that maintains a 10,000 RPM speed to produce excellent grinding with a 2-1/2 in. small-circumference, barrel-grip handle for added comfort. An all ball-bearing design and metal gear housing provide durability.
Features:
  • Protective zig-zig varnish seals motor from contaminants by forming a barrier under rotation
  • 7.5 amp motor design for high output power in a more compact tool (only 4.5 lbs.)
  • Thicker coil wires are wound more closely to reduce heat and energy loss
  • All ball bearing design and metal gear housing for durability
  • Rotatable gear housing rotates 90 degrees for cutting applications
  • AC/DC switch for use with alternative power source
Includes:
  • 7.5 Amp 4-1/2 in. Slide Switch AC/DC Angle Grinder 2-Pack - 9557NB2

Workhorse
Good product, very reliable motor, brushes do last.
Gear train is a bit week for a continuous grinding. I do stonework and the only part that is giving up is the cone gear in the head. It outlasts more expensive grinders. All of the above plus reasonable price makes it a good value

Amazing deal!!!
I can't believe this deal. Two for about the price of one!!! I own a concrete coating business and these Makita 7.5 amp angle grinders out perform grinders six times their price. They last for a long time and we use them to edge grind hundreds of linear feet of concrete every day. They hold up to the abuse of a job site and the constant dust. As a bonus, you pretty much get a second one free if one does break on you. what are you waiting for? Buy a couple of these before they realize they priced them too low, I sure did.
