Just shut up and spend the money!
This was a "holy cow that's awesome" impulse buy and I don't regret it. I love it. Perfect for long jobs to help make the day go by. It runs all day on half a battery (1.5 amp hour) without charging your phone. If you charge an iPhone like I do, you get 8 hours 1 tops. I carry a 3 amp hour battery just in case. The Bluetooth range is good. I have no complaints.

Big sound in a small package
Super easy to sync with my phone. Great sound with rich deep bass. I don't understand how such good sound can be delivered from such a small speaker but it does. You can easily adjust the volume by turning it up or down from your phone in your pocket when it's hooked up to Bluetooth. I've been using it in my backyard when I'm working in the garden and the kids are playing. The kids love it too and their "love" has been shown by dropping it a few times and not worse for the ware. I have the XC battery and it's lasted for about 8 hours and counting on the original charge. Awesome!

Great speaker good price
As the pitch states this is a great job-site music platform long life and space friendly. It does lack a mic for speaker phone use which would be a nice feature, but that doesn't take away from what it does. Does everything they say it does and does so well. Don't be turned off by goofy reviews from people who assume a product does things without doing the home work and then blaming the product for there lack of sense.

Suprisingly great sound from such a small package.
Received as a gift from Santa, and paired with my phone, laptop, and tablet easily. I was very surprised by the clean, crisp sound combined with decent bass response. You are obviously not going to rattle any windows with the bass, but there is a tuned port on the bottom of the device that definitely helps. I guess I wasn't expecting such balanced sound from a tool manufacturing company, but this sounds better than my kid's expensive name brand Bluetooth speaker. So far, I have annoyed everyone in my household all day with my selection of music, so it has great battery life too. And it is small enough to fit in my jacket pocket. The only minor negative thing I have to say is that the buttons have to be pressed unusually hard to register a button press, but this also prevents them from being accidentally bumped.

Works great! Surprisingly loud for such a small size.
Fresh off the shelf review after playing with it for half a day, will post an update once I've used for a while longer.

Got to start with the fact that I own and use quite a few Milwaukee tools, so of course I have several spare batteries. One of the reasons I got this - I needed a sidekick for the older Milwaukee jobsite radio that I also have.

Ill be using it mostly for fast ans small jobs when I don't need to pull my whole tool set up out of the truck(Yes, Im the kind of person, who needs his own tunes to keep focused even if its a 10 minute job:))) or to make days in the office days a bit more fun:)

Easy to use out of the box - clicked in a small M12(I have 4 of them for my hoodie, jacket & rotary tool), synced to my phone's Bluetooth in about 2.5 minutes and there it is.

Surprisingly clean and loud sound for such a small speaker. Worked well on everything from Black Sabbath to David Guetta:) Holds up bass surprisingly well for such a small speaker too.

Seems to be built solid too. If its as durable as it's bigger cousin(had the older Milwaukee jobsite radio for almost 4 years so far - been through rain, snow, sun, close proximity to gigantic camp fires, been thrown around in the back of the truck and used as makeshift amp for my electric and it's still going strong:)Ill be probably getting one more:)

Price is pretty good too. As long as You already have M12s and chargers on You.

All in all - a nice small speaker that packs a good punch. Keep it up Milwaukee.

Update - synced to my laptop no problem as well.

Bought this speaker new yesterday and it worked great all day long. No problem connecting via Bluetooth to my phone. Today I turned it on and it is connected to my phone but not putting out any sound. All the volume controls are at the highest level. Cannot determine what might cause this problem! Might have to return it, I cannot find any info online about how to resolve this problem. Anyone with help if most thoughtful!

BEST ANSWER: Ok, several steps to take (former electronics company service manager):
1) Plug a known source into the Aux jack, and see if the speaker produces sound.
2) This speaker can pair to only one Bluetooth source at a time. It’s possible that it paired with something else. Un-pair; re-pair.
3) Try another Bluetooth device. Can you pair that device to the speaker?
4) Remove the battery, count to 100, replace the battery.
If these steps don’t work, call Milwaukee tech support. You might have to wait for a few minutes, but they’re fantastic to work with. They can help you decide if you need to return for repair/replacement — plus I may have missed something.
One final thought. I had to go through a dozen of these speakers to find one where the pushbuttons are accessible behind the rubber seals. It’s as if the circuit board on which the pushbuttons are mounted is too far away from the rubber membrane. I talked to Milwaukee tech support about this. They verified it was a manufacturing problem, it had been fixed in production, but there were units in the supply chain that still were borderline defective. It’s possible to only think you’ve pushed the buttons. Make sure you’re getting contact. If the buttons aren’t quite right, there’s no remedy other than replacement.
Hope this helps. /aw
What's the speaker's wattage?
Milwaukee master on Jul 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The short answer is we don’t know, because Milwaukee doesn’t tell us in their literature. You could try calling their tech support line, but I wouldn’t get my hopes up.
Here’s what I suggest: Buy the speaker from a retailer to whom you can return it. See how it works for you. That’s the best gauge of power out in a device this small.
If you’re asking about wattage, you may know something about THD — total harmonic distortion. You’d want that number, too. When you crank up a small speaker driven by an equally small amplifier, you can overdrive both to the point where it’s hard to hear anything, and what you do hear is terrible — distorted or clipped.
Pay attention to the instructions. You can set the speaker volume to Max (as indicated by a limit beep) and then control the actual listening volume from the source — such as your iPhone.
I’ve been impressed by the sound volume and sound quality of the little speaker, but I don’t use it in a large area or a high noise environment. It works equally well in my 1200 sq ft shop and on a shelf above my 30 sq ft shower (where it gets a little steam and overspray, but not drenched).
Hope that helps.
can I sinc the wireless speaker to my jobsite radio by Milwaukee?
Steve on Jun 25, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Steve,I use my speaker to sync with my ipad and my android phone. If your Jobsite radio broadcasts bluetooth, this should link nicely.I hope it does as this is a nice speaker for the job.Mike
Can you set up two of these be synced to listen to the same music at the time in two different areas?
Brian on Jun 6, 2015
BEST ANSWER: If you have a device that will connect to two things via bluetooth at the same time then sure, but the speakers will not connect to each other
