A Great piece of equipment
It's much easier for a right handed person to use than a standard saw because you can see the cut without having to look over the top of the saw.

I always wanted a worm drive saw but i felt there was no point in buying a saw that wasnt a milwalkee. when i found out that they made one i was thrilled, i bought one right away. overall it is exactly what you would expect from milwalkee a great quality product, for the profesional. Two points the saw could be improved upon however are the 3.5 inch shoe area to the right of the blade, I know every worm drive is the same in this respect but i would prefer 5 inches in this area , like a regular circular saw. This makes it easier to use the shoe as a rip guide. the other area is the original blade. obviously no one buys a saw for the original blade, but still there is no comparison to the frued diablo blade. other than that this saw is a serious profesional saw, with all the durability you expect from milwalkee.

Skil saw
Great skil saw. Blade on the left side helps you see better. Worm drive makes the saw heavier but runs better.

ON THE JOB
I LOVE THE SAW. IT SHOULD COME WITH RIP GUIDE AND CARRY BAG. THEN IT WOULD STAND OUT ABOVE THE REST. IT SHOULD ALSO BE DESIGNED WITH THE TWIST OFF HANDLE CORD, AND WITH A AVAILABLE ACCESSORY TWIST ON 50' CORD. NO MORE CORD SNAGS WHEN ROUGH FRAMING. THE OLD TIMERS ALWAYS TAKE THERE SKILL SAWS FACTORY CORD OFF AND INSTALL A 50' CORDS. NEEDS MORE SITE ROOM AT BLADE TO SHOE FOR WATCHING BLADE TO CUT SCRIBED CURVED LINES.

Great Saw
So many products, including power tools, that once had a good reputation for quality with the trades people have gone to "homeowner quality" For some things that is OK and you save a bit of money. But for my saw I wanted a quality product. When I made my first cut of a large beam I almost giggled. This saw is so powerful it cuts wonderfully. Yes, a new blade probably helped but I am very happy with my purchase. As noted it seems pretty heavy, but that tells me it has real metal parts and hopefully will last a long time. Prior to this my only Milwaukee tool was a Hole Hawg and if this Saw performs as long and as well as that I will be happy for a long time.I have previously owned a Skill Saw, and a Dewalt worm drive. I purchased the Dewalt because it was lighter but the gears in the worm drive failed recently and I could not bring myself to buy the same thing again with no doubt cheaper materials this time around.
Buying this saw reconditioned was no real big deal to me. Reconditioned means someone bought it, used it a couple of times and returned it. I put more wear on it the first day and in a week it looks like any old saw anyway.

I bought it to cut through 1 inch stucco I sunk it all the way through and it cuts great it is still very heavy but more comfortable and way more powerful than the dewalts and rigid that I bought the same day it cut 190 square of stucco and laugh and is still going strong

New Vs. Reconditioned

What's the difference between New and Factory-Reconditioned?

Factory-Reconditioned products have been returned to the manufacturer and are restored to like-new operating condition; they go through a rigorous testing and inspection process. Plus, they offer a significant savings vs. new.
  • Reconditioned products may have minor cosmetic blemishes or scratches that do not affect item performance.
  • Reconditioned products may not come with all of the consumables the new version comes with (bits, sanding pads/papers, cases, etc.).
  • Both come with a manufacturer warranty and are covered by our Money Back Guarantee; New is 30 days, Reconditioned is 60 days.
