Up to the Task
I received my new Snow Joe 21" cordless electric snowblower just in time for the blizzard Juno and it was up to the task! It was quiet, lightweight and efficient. The rechargeable batteries( I purchased an additional one work well and keep a charge. I highly recommend this snowblower to everyone.

Very well engineered, no cord, no gas, no problems! I am impressed with the compact design of this machine, and how light weight it is to push around. The unit assembled easily and feels solid for a plastic machine. I like the quietness and the fast speed of the auger as well. I'm still waiting for snow, but I'm pretty sure this little unit will handle it well. Please see my video below.

Surprising Performance
Bought this right after Black Friday on sale with considerable discounts, so I had to wait a month after purchasing so I could get some experience with snow. I checked our weather patterns over the past three years to and we generally get a dozen storms of about 4 - 8 inches snow per year, and we've only had one day in which 13" was dropped, so the specs on this blower should cover the majority of what we run into during the winter.

We have a shared driveway that is about two cars wide and runs from the street to a detached garage in the back yard (about 150 feet). The first snow storm we had in Western New York laid about 4 inches snow. The blower had issues throwing the snow very far (maybe 6 - 8 feet), and the chute kept clogging. I only did cuts down the driveways using maybe 1/2 of the width of the blower. Took me about 20 minutes to blow a single car path down the driveway and in front of the garage. When I pulled out the shovel to use instead on the sidewalk, I realized the snow was extremely wet and heavy. Looking back on it now, the performance was acceptable considering the conditions for the first run, but my lower back is certainly not complaining!

The next snow storm dumped about 6 inches of lighter, fluffy snow. The blower really showed its power that day. I used the full 21" of the cut, the chute did not clog at all, and cleaning the entire driveway and sidewalk took less than 20 minutes. The chute controls on the handle were extremely helpful in allowing me to walk and adjust the direction of the show being thrown. Battery was about 1/2 drained when I was done with our driveway, so I had plenty of power left to do more work if I needed to.

Putting the blower together was simple and straight forward, and the parts seem pretty durable. Replacement parts were also reasonably priced, so I know if there is a problem I wont spend a fortune to replace the part. Battery charges completely in a few hours, which is not bad considering the amount of power I had leftover after cleaning the driveway. Overall, I am pretty darn happy with this blower.

Best cordless snow blower I used
Tues night Jeff & Kevin went out of their way to help me purchase .the 21SB Pro cordless snow blower. Thursday as the snow storm was winding down, my delivery came which was extremely fast . I ,an 83 year woman put it together in less than 1/2 hour. after shoveling half of a 20 foot double driveway with another fantastic product, my Christmas present , SJ shlvo1 shovel which was easier to use than a regular shovel. Battery took less than 3 hours to charge .and I went out and finished the driveway without trouble. The snow was about 7 inches. It handled the snow well .An added feature is the handle folds down, and does not stick out all the time.

Did a great job
December 11th, the first snow in northern Indiana was 7 inches . I had just got the snow Joe two days before this snow. Assembly was very easy maybe took 15 min. With the first snow on the ground, I was very surprised that the unit handled the snow deep so well. I had a learning time to get the chute adjusted for the best "throwing" of the snow after that easy going. I am glad that I purchased an additional battery. My drive way is not real long but I am assuming because of the snow depth, the first battery ran out about 3/4 of the way to finish. I can see that it will take some learning time to get proficient with the blower but the snow joe in my opinion will be well worth the money. It was nice to watch my neighbor working for an hour to get his gas powered unit started and I was already done.
Only issue was the battery compartment kept popping open. Simple bungee cord solved that little issue.

First snow removal was very successful

Awesome snow blower!
The 21-inch PRO Series Cordless Snow Blower proved itself handily after the latest snowstorm in Denver, Colorado. The morning after, I set to work on the approximately 8 inches of snow that fell at my house. The Snow Joe handled my 35 x 16 foot driveway easily. In addition, it handled 75 ft of sidewalk and another 60 ft walkway. I found that rather than holding back, if you push a bit into the snow, it easily threw the snow 15-20 ft away. I was able to do all this in the morning before heading off to work without hurting my shoulders in the process.

The Snow Joe 21-inch is lightweight, super easy to assemble (it arrived almost fully assembled already in the box) and starts right away. It is easy to maneuver, quiet and very agile. I could lift it up to my front porch, and easily load it into my car to transport. Even my 80-year old mother can handle the snow blower. Cleanup was simple and straightforward with a hand broom.

I needed a snow blower that was big enough to handle my typical snow clearing needs at my house without being too big. I felt the cordless snow shovels were too small and 2-stage units too big for me needs. The 21-inch Cordless model is right in the middle and the right size for my needs. (Though, if I get a bigger house with more driveway to clear, I will definitely consider Snow Joe’s 80V 2-Stage self-propelled snow blower.) Note, the "Best Uses" section only has "Light Snow", but I would add Medium Snow as well. This Snow Joe definitely can handle more than just Light Snow.

The only blemish on an otherwise excellent product is the slow battery recharge time, and the somewhat annoying recharge behavior (which is why I am giving it 4 stars for Features). At 3 hours for a full recharge, that’s a long time to wait. And for some reason, my battery doesn't fully recharge on the first try. In order to get a full recharge (all three LEDs light when tested), I disconnect everything and reconnect for a second cycle. I feel this is an annoyance only (I have seen this behavior with other rechargeable batteries), and still highly recommend the Snow Joe PRO Series Cordless 21-inch Snow Blower.

Works as advertised and designed.
Works surprisingly well for a battery operated machine. We have dry powder here in Fairbanks. In 4-8 inch powder it plowed through very well. Good enough that I bought a spare battery.

Great second snow blower
I haven't had a snow storm to try out this unit in. It's amazing once you get one of these machines the snow backs off. I purchased this for the smaller storms because my gas blower is quite large and takes long to maneuver around my property. My first impression of this unit is how well it's put together. It appears very durable. The electric chute is a great feature. Based on my initial tests it seems powerful enough to handle 6" or less snow with ease. The unit is lightweight and very maneuverable. I imagine this will be a joy to use for narrower parts of my property as the walkways are narrow and have many curves. I imagine it will be much quicker than using my 10hp gas blower. It is so lightweight that moving this around will be like mopping a floor. The headlight is a great feature and will come in handy around those dark corners of my property. I can't give more info until I use it in a storm but my first impressions are great

Great for urban/city snow clearing!
Last winter I bought one of those smaller (and cheaper corded electric snow "shovels". I was so disappointed with that purchase, not because of any real fault with the product, but because it just wasn't useful for me. This Winter, I decided to go all in and picked up the Snow Joe iON21SB-PRO! Cordless is absolutely a must! You do NOT want to be dealing with a cord out in the snow. Being able to direct where the snow goes is also a must. Lastly, these are electric machines, and so won't be as powerful as their gas powered brothers. Get out there and start clearing when the snow has reached 4" and is still fresh! This will take care of things.

I just used it for the first time on my Boston, MA urban apartment property. I have about 25 feet of sidewalk and about 60 feet of driveway to clear. Driveway is 1 car length long. The snow was about 3-4" of fairly dense pow (wish I was snowboarding instead!!!) and the Snow Joe ate right through it. The whole job would normally take me over an hour by myself with a shovel. I was done in less than 30 minutes with the Snow Joe.

Fair warning, it does not like wet/slushy heavy snow, like the stuff that the street plows kick up on to your driveway. Use a regular shovel for that! It's also not terribly precise, so if you may need to do some "spot" shoveling after taking care of the large swaths.

So far and overall, I am please with the purchase! My only note to Snow Joe is: keep everything about this the same, except make it as powerful as you can! If this little guy could handle the slushy/dense snow, it would be 5 stars perfect!
