Powerful, easy starting lawnmower. Love it!
I could not be happier with my recent purchase of the Ariens Razor lawn mower. It is the easiest starting (pull start) lawn mower I have ever owned. It always starts on the first pull.

The lawn mower is powerful and has more than enough power to motor through thick grass. The high mower deck is a great feature that allows the mower to mulch tall grass without bogging down.

The hand squeeze self propel feature also works great. The easy adjusting push bar feature is also a great addition to the mower.

I would highly recommend this mower.

Next purchase an Ariens snow blower....

I used this Razor for the first time on Wednesday, the 19th of June...

The self propelled worked nicely, I loved the speed controls...Best of all was the indicators for the raising and lowering the mower height.

Good workmanship....

Starts easy, mows close to trees, etc., and the storage handle placement is nice. The self propel could go just a little slower because holding the handle just a little down tires your hand and wrist. Overall a great lawnmower.

Very very solid.
Upon delivery on 7/6/15 I put it together (very easy) then the next day I cut the grass. The Subaru engine started on the first pull then I started to bag the front, all I can say is wow this beast manicured my front yard perfect. Well now I proceeded to the back and mulched it and again wow no clumps and one perfect job. The model I bought is Ariens Razor model 911188 and compared to my Lawn boy there is no comparison. So in conclusion I would highly recommended this Lawn Mower.

Goodbye LawnBoy, Hello Ariens
I have been a LawnBoy man for over 20 years, they have performed as I had expected, the quality was there and they were made in America. When the time came to update the previous machine I did some homework and found the Ariens Razor to be what I was looking for. The available video showed me the features I had been interested in, "American", Quality product, features that were had to pass up, one lever deck adjustment, ease of this operation, storage position for the handle in the upright position, great thought, I use mine as a mulcher and the power is more then what I expected. I have cut in wet weather with the lawn 4 inches tall and the mower did not bog down nor did the cut clump up. The individual who had a problem with the deck adjustment lever should give the mower another chance, I believe he may be very surprised. I have used my mower 3 times per week now for the last 2.5 months and am completely satisfied. I believe this is a great product from an American company and I would highly recommend this product.

Self-propelled The self-propelled wheels lock up if to much debris gets in the drive system. It's happened to me twice now. One time it cost me $50 to have it fixed. Now it just happened again after I was marching leaves. I never know when it's going to happen again what a big pain

A major disappointment!
I can't start it on my own. It's very heavy and the self propelling is somewhat erratic. Then I was informed I couldn't return it because it had had gas in it. No where on the website was that mentioned,
