Freight Orders

Freight deliveries require a delivery time be scheduled and someone must be present at the time of delivery to inspect and sign for the merchandise. A representative from the freight carrier will call the phone number entered at checkout to schedule the delivery.

Liftgate Service

For freight deliveries, you have the option of adding a liftgate to your delivery. A liftgate is the device that lowers a product from the truck to ground level.

CPO recommends adding liftgate service for freight deliveries exceeding 100 lbs if you do not have a loading dock or fork lift at the delivery address. Additional charges may apply. The liftgate option will be presented during the checkout process.

Please note that liftgate service only ensures the product is removed from the truck. We recommend you have the additional help of two to four people to move the product to its desired location because drivers are not required to assist.

Requesting liftgate service after ordering may result in additional charges and delays.

I like buying the best the first time.
Kids are older. So bought this. Where I live it snows about 80" to 120" a year. I live on the corner so more side walk and a 50' driveway. This machine gets the job done quick.

Great Machine!!!
Purchased this Ariens Compact 24 snowblower to replace my older (1980's vintage) Ariens 24" Sno-Thro machine. While it still worked very well, the tires on that one were fairly small and the engine was a little under powered for my driveway. When choosing a new model, I knew that I wanted another Ariens based upon the reliability that I had with that older machine. I was a little concerned because the new model didn't specify horsepower, only that it has 10 ft-lbs of torque. After some digging on the internet, I calculated that was about equivalent to a 7 hp engine versus the 5 hp that my previous model had. So, I purchased the new machine and I am so glad that I did!! It is SO much easier to use than my old machine as it has much larger, knobby tires, ergonomically the handles are in a better position, and it has plenty of power for my needs (my driveway has quite a slope to it!) while still be very maneuverable. The 24" width is also very nice for getting between parked cars (we typically have 4 or 5 in the driveway). I also purchased and installed the optional hand-warmers - which work awesome! Didn't really like having to drill a hole in my brand new snowblower (for the switch), but am very glad I did! I highly recommend this machine to anyone considering purchasing an new snowblower. About the only cons that I have is that the light sometimes creates back-reflection at night when it is snowing out (would be good if there was a switch on the light - maybe I'll add one), and it is a little bit loud, so I wear earmuffs when using it (just like when cutting the lawn). Other than that, the machine cuts through the snow much easier than my old one and throws it much further too!

Compact 24 Snow Thro Fuel Control Knob Design Defect
Fuel Control Knob breaks off it is poorly located by the pull cord handle. The recoil of the handle hits the knob and breaks it. The knob should be located on the side of the housing. This is a know design defect which Ariens should immediately address. I had it replaced once and now broken again despite my careful pull action.

Yes I would buy this again
Gets my 1/10th of a mile driveway cleared. Most of the time it starts with first pull, even in the deep freeze.

Compact 24, excellent machine!!
I have had this Compact 24 for five years, bought from LIFFCO in Williston Park, LI, NY. Excellent Ariens dealer!! Very manueverable, powerful for its class, but could be more powerful with a larger engine.
