Freight Orders

Freight deliveries require a delivery time be scheduled and someone must be present at the time of delivery to inspect and sign for the merchandise. A representative from the freight carrier will call the phone number entered at checkout to schedule the delivery.

Liftgate Service

For freight deliveries, you have the option of adding a liftgate to your delivery. A liftgate is the device that lowers a product from the truck to ground level.

CPO recommends adding liftgate service for freight deliveries exceeding 100 lbs if you do not have a loading dock or fork lift at the delivery address. Additional charges may apply. The liftgate option will be presented during the checkout process.

Requesting liftgate service after ordering may result in additional charges and delays.

Tracks horribly!
I owned an older Ariens for 30 years and it was amazing! When it finally died I bought a new Ariens without looking at anything else because I had such a good experience, but I have been very disappointed. I have now had it for a few years and EVERY time I take it out I fight the snowblower the whole time to keep it tracking in a straight line. It continually veers to the left and swerves to the right. I have tried using it in posi-traction move with both wheels engaged and without. I have tried adjusting the side rails to lift the blade slightly off the ground. The blade and rails have excessive wear already and I think the white metal used is soft and cheap and so it bites into the asphalt driveway and veers to whichever side it bites into most. The unit pull starts fine for me, but when I'm away and my needs to use the electric start she says it has to spin a lot to get it to start. I've experienced the same thing. It's also very poor in slush, my old Bobcat snow thrower was amazing in slush, but the impeller style of the Ariens doesn't handle wet snow well. All in all, I am disappointed.

Buy one in a heartbeat
Had the Deluxe 28 for 2 years now. Best machine I've ever had! No joke. This is a tank in any snow, gobbles it up and spits it out. Handles 2" light snow and 2 feet heavy snow with no trouble. Can throw high to clear those driveway edge walls. And has serious range away at the same time. Maneuverable, I can spin this around 180 in a near pivot like a lawn mower. Handle ice chunks, grinds them up & throws them out. Even the snow plow banks in the driveway. Handled this years 24" blizzard great. Had to clear a path on the road to my elderly neighbors to do their driveway. Have the electric start, never had any trouble with the pull start even in the cold.

wow it was worth every penny ,I'm a problem solver so if i buy something to solve my problem i want it to do just that and it did my 2nd yr with this 28" deluxe wow i love this thing the talk of the town . everybody wants one cause i won't let them touch mine hay its my investment so I'm def. taking good care of it . I'm a beginner but i notice that in heavy snow just go slow let the machine do all the word so push a foot and let it throw it out then push again but thats on heavy or hard snow and ice ,on regular snow that has just fallen you'll go right through it . if you decide to get one you won't regret it so the next time it snows get ready for the time of your life .

A reliable old friend
I purchased an Ariens Deluxe 27 blower about seven years ago. I seldom use it anymore because I do most of my snow removal with a tractor and front-end loader (it's just more fun). This week, however, the snow was too deep for my usual method, and that sent me to my Ariens. After sitting for two years high and dry in an outbuilding, my Ariens blower fired right up with one pull (I have electric start but have never needed it), ran strong, and powered through two long driveways buried in 16 inches of relatively dense snow. In other words, it did exactly what I needed it to do at the time I needed it done. I can't always say that about all of my tools and equipment, and the fact that this blower has always come through without hassle, starting issues, etc., is worth stopping to appreciate. So, here I am, seven years into satisfied ownership, and taking the time to spread the word in a long overdue review. If Ariens is still making them like they did when they made mine, I can't recommend them strongly enough.

Excellent snow blower
I bought two of these snow blowers, one in 2009 (as a gift for my father) and the other in 2011 (for myself), both machines have worked excellent. What really impresses me about the machine is how well everything works. There are no cables to freeze, seize and break, the crank for the chute direction works excellent at -30 degrees, the long steel chute throws the snow a great distance and lever control for the distance flap on top of the chute does not freeze up in any conditions. Over the years I have run 8, 10, 11 HP snow blowers, I am not sure the horsepower of the 250 cc engine, but I do not feel I need a more powerful machine the OHV engine runs perfect. There are some negative comments about the positive wheel traction release and the machine not running straight, this mechanism needs to be lubricated every couple of years with winter grade grease. I do not use the feature but It does work well as long as it is lubricated and the machine will run straight with power to both wheels. I have bought two of these 250 cc/28" machines and would definitely buy another.

Love my new ariens
Just bought the deluxe 28 this fall. Have already used it about 5 times and most of them times it was very wet slushy snow. Anyone who says this won't throw the wet /slushy snow is lying!! This thing is a beast and works extremely well. The auto turn feature also works very well....very easy to maneuver. The only complaint is have is the very small gas tank.

I would definatly buys this snow blower again
I live in Grey county Ontario Canada. Lots of lake effect snow to blow, sometimes daily. I have had 3 machines before this one. This is my 3rd winter and I am very satisfied. I've got the 28 deluxe, the smallest machine I've owned. Zero regrets.

Autosteer: All Over the Place
I couldn't wait to step up to an Ariens. Had used a few in different locations and knew how well-made they were. After special ordering mine mid-winter from my local Biddeford dealer, I realized that I could not keep it going in a straight line. With the Autosteer, any variation in snow depth, density or change in pavement would make it dart wildly left or right. I also felt that it was geared too fast for 1st gear. It would stall in the plow furrow at the end of the drive. I had the dealer check it out a couple of times with no better results. Ariens support was no support at all. They put all the responsibility on the dealer. He did tell me that he would take it back toward another model in the fall when he received the next shipment. After six phone calls and four trips with the Deluxe 28 to the dealer to make the trade all he could do was say that he wasn't in business to lose money and would try to sell it as a used machine for me. After a few weeks I picked it back up and sold it myself for half what I paid. No more Ariens or local dealer for me.

Tries to auto turn both right and left when trying to go straight up an incline. It can be very hard to control when it does that.
