Motorcycle disassembly
I disassembled a motorcycle in a jiffy with this. It is powerful enough to work on non-structural car components. It is a terrific tool.

plenty of power
Run this on the 20v system. Great power for bolts and screws. Works just as good as dedicated impact drivers of like build. I love the matrix\bolt on system.

Black & Decker Matrix Impact Driver
Purchased a reconditioned impact driver attachment for my B&D Matrix drill. Decided on a reconditioned unit to safe some money. I had my first chance to use it when I needed to screw in 1/2" treated plywood to treated 2 x 4 lumber. This was my first time using an impact driver, and I did not realize the power of it. I almost drilled some screws right thru the plywood without much effort. The impact driver attachment arrived withing several and was in perfect working order. Will not hesitate to purchase reconditioned tools from Tyler Tools.

My favorite attachment.
This is my favorite attachment. The connection is sure and the power is smooth. I use it on AC, 12 volt and 20 volt units with equal pleasure.

Just what I needed
I had previously purchased the string trimmer and blower and needed a new drill so I bought this one and also bought the impact driver for a project of a metal carport. Couldn't have been happier with the way it preformed. I had a friend with a DeWalt drill helping me and I could drive 3 self tapping screws to his one.

CAN THIS IMPACT ATTACHMENT BE CONNECTED TO 1/2 IMPACT SOCKETS ?
buster on Jul 27, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Impact drivers are not designed for high torque applications that Impact wrenches perform. No, this impact driver should not be used with 1/2in drive sockets
