Product Overview

The Universal Handheld Remote Control system controls four fan speeds in forward and full range light dimming. Similar to garage door programming, the fan and control are paired together when installed with a unique pairing code automatically.
  • 4 speed fan control
  • CFL Auto-Detect prohibits light dimming if non-dimming CFL bulbs are used in the fan
  • Learning Code Synchronization eliminates dip switches and frequency interference
  • Can be used in indoor to damp location environments
  • Can be added to ceiling fans with Casablanca's universal wall control already included to give handheld control
  • Reverse switch for changing the direction of airflow
  • Safe Exit program gives you approximately thirty seconds of light when turned off to exit the room before the lights go out
  • Universal Handheld Remote Control - 99020

Compatible With: Casablanca 5XXXX Series Fans
Control Functions: Fan / Light / Reverse
Finish: White

I already have one Casablanca handheld remote 99020. I would like to add another control, for convenience. To pair the new one, will I need to shut off power from the breaker and reprogram BOTH controls? Or is there a more simple way to pair the second one?

BEST ANSWER: If you are installing multiple remote-controlled fans
on the same circuit breaker,
you may need to perform a few extra steps to prevent
interference or faulty operation of your remote controls.

install multiple remote-controlled fans?" for more information.
