I'm a DeWalt lifetime user. Almost all the tools I have are DeWalt so when I needed an electric drill I bought this one. Have had just over a year and use infrequently but want it to be there when I need it. Today while drilling a 3" hole in a 2x4 the internal shaft snapped. Motor still works but chuck doesn't spin. Not the quality I had expected. Going to have to start looking for another power tool company that can build quality into their products. So disappointed after all these years.

    Very Good Product
Used it right out of box to drill holes in a stump. Both the hammer drill and the regular drill setting worked fine and I put it thru the paces because the holes needed to be 12 inches deep. no problems at all.

    Drill works great.
Drilled a number of 5" inch holes in concret out of the box w/o issues. Trigger speed control is a little hard to control.

    Good product, fair price
Its nice the chuck key is attached with a piece of rubber, but its not long enough to reach the chuck. I took it loose and with black electrical tape attached it to the elec cord, like I do with all my other drills. It would be nice if they was long enough to start with.

This is a good medium duty drill for the do-it-yourselfer/home owner who just needs something to do the job...not too heavy or powerful but powerful enough to get the job done when you need a tool like this.

    New Vs. Reconditioned

What's the difference between New and Factory-Reconditioned?

Factory-Reconditioned products have been returned to the manufacturer and are restored to like-new operating condition; they go through a rigorous testing and inspection process. Plus, they offer a significant savings vs. new.
    • Reconditioned products may have minor cosmetic blemishes or scratches that do not affect item performance.
    • Reconditioned products may not come with all of the consumables the new version comes with (bits, sanding pads/papers, cases, etc.).
    • Both come with a manufacturer warranty and are covered by our Money Back Guarantee; New is 30 days, Reconditioned is 120 days.
