Great splinter free cuts. They are disposable. In reference to the other reviewer on this item. Otherwise maybe festool will come out with a TS saw with a scoring blade instead. I think that saw will be a bit heavy and much more expensive than theses plastic throw aways.
Other reviewer only gave it two star which I think is low.Yes its a consumbable but so are so blades right?I have extras but I have yet to replace one. Maybe you if you a professional but how much production would you be doing that [$] a pop could add up? if you are doing that much work [$] is just negligible cost for consumables..
Okay, they work...but you've got to throw away when they're burned out. I really dislike that aspect of the splinter guard systems in the Festool catalog (and that goes for the jigsaws as well). However, they work great. I'll give them that. Mine seem to last quite a long time but then again I'm not a professional user. I'd really like to see an alternative to plastic tossers but for now these will have to do.
