Great saw overall
I have 2 gas saws and "had" a competitors model in 60V. The Greenworks saw beat the other battery saw easily. Power was much more linear. Batteries lasted longer. Overall the Greenworks was even quieter. I have 5 other Greenworks tools but got sucked in by advertising for the competitors 60V. Lesson learned, stick with what you know.

And I just want to say that it is the best chainsaw I have ever used and I bought another one because the other one I used to death I cut my own wood and I split it not with the chainsaw but with aynax but I have found that this product is the best thank you.

I LOVE GREENWORKS!!!
I first bought the GREENWORKS electric 40v G-Max weed eater for a landscaping job. I was blown away!! With just the little starter spool of cord I worked throughout the summer and fall taking out even the lilac offshoots (tough sticks) and brush up to two feet high in one or two passes! I had used a professional Stihl when working for the city, and this baby (40v weed eater) made the Stihl look and feel like a toy. I left for winter, returned 6months later and the battery was still fully charged and ready to go! I squeeze about 45-50 min of heavy duty cutting out of a full charge and takes just about same to recharge. I have now ordered the 40v G-Max Chainsaw with great excitement. The machine is beautiful (imho), light weight, comfortable, and super easy to use just like their others! Somehow the chain brake had a glitch in mine upon arrival, so I have not been able to cut with it yet... However I called customer service, and a brand new one is on the way no charge no hassle and I don't even have to return the glitchy one! Service areas were two states away. BEST customer service maybe EVER! (No exaggeration)
Btw: I am just a small woman (5'9 95-100lbs/42-45kili) and I LOVE how these machines are so easy to handle, Quieter, and user friendly!! Thank You GREENWORKS!
