Stopped working after 1 use
Very bad product. I was excited about using the electric one since I don't like gas and battery powered is not powerful enough and expensive. Worked like a charm the 1st time. 2nd time, I did one pass. Ended up in the wet snow area. Stopped suddenly and now it does not start. Now, to fix it if I need to send it somewhere I need to pay for that myself.

Does what I needed it to do.
My wife gave this model for Christmas, I have a 12x20 foot deck that I use it on. One storm we had 27 inches of snow and I couldn't get to it right away. Anyway the blower blew all the snow from the deck, I had to work it a little but it held up fine. I even do some paths around the house. I'll rate this product 5 stars. One problem I did have is fitting a three prong plug in the plug area, the collar around the prongs was egg shaped, but I heated it up and put a hose clamp around it to keep it's shape.

Used once and stopped working. Poor quality.
I was given the snow blower 2600202 and was excited by the gift. I used it once and it stopped working while clearing a driveway. Won't come back on. Kicked the right side of the blower and the motor came back on but didn't stay on. I didn't expect this.

Chute will not rotate fully
Had this about a year. It always worked great. Today the discharge chute won't rotate fully to the right. When rotated to the left the handle position doesn't go as far as it used to. I think the gears have slipped.

Love this snow blower
I bought this in November after Mo. had 4-5 snows. Only now having an opportunity to try it. Had 12 to 15in this weekend.
Being realistic I went and did drive and back yard for pups as it was snowing. When it looked like there was about 4in I went to clear it again. Worked great throwing snow far enough to get it off my 2car drive . More than 24hrs of snow driveway clear.
For what it is intended for it worked great. For how I expected it would worked was better than expected.
Only bad was dealing with cord. So impressed going to get the 80volt system next year.

Stopped working after 2 uses
We used this snowblower 2 times for light snows, and then it stopped working. It was stored in a heated garage. I happen to be an engineer, and I did read/follow all instructions.

Easy To Use
Does what I expected
This unit reforms as I expected. I only had one occasion to use it . I had about 4" of snow that was somewhat packet and it cleared it with little issue. It operated better on lighter snow. The only negative I had was the control for the discharge chute was not smooth in operation. do not expect the same performance of a gas unit and you will not be disappointed

Initially, I had high hopes concerning the performance of the Greenworks Electric Snow Blower. Good reviews along with an adequate amount of power led me to believe that the device would be worth the small investment spent. To my dismay, the blower lost a wheel right out the box. It would appear that quality control failed to pick this short-coming up.

Next, I would say that the snow removing properties were ideal on a flat, smooth surface. Any deviation from this type of surface would certainly affect performance. Unless you are dealing with a very dry and fresh new powder type of snow, you may encounter difficulty with the removal of said snow flake. Plastic parts do not deal with ice or heavy wet snow too well.

Lastly, I had thought that an extension cord would not be that difficult to handle during snow removal. Unfortunately, the properties of metal have a tendency to change when the temperature drops. Instead of a soft, malleable substance such as copper or aluminum cable rolled up on your wrist. You now have a stiff and hard to negotiate cable that is searching for an opportunity to get caught up in the inner workings of the Greenworks Snow Blowing Machine.

An electric snow blower is certainly cheaper, lighter, and easier to store inside of the home than a big , gas-powered beast of a snow blower. But unless you want to sacrifice on performance and ease of use, I would reconsider a switch to electric over gas until the technology and quality improves dramatically.

Just my experience.

saved the day
will buy again. handled the blizzard of 2016 with out a problem. We had 28 + inches & the blower moved a ton of snow, and was ready for more. not only cleared my small driveway and paths. I used it for my neighbors, and later on helped my son do his drive way. Very pleased with my purchase.

how long does a charge last with the battery and can you buy an extra battery?
Pete on Dec 14, 2015
BEST ANSWER: At 13 amps, I don't believe this unit uses a battery. The picture looks like it runs on 120V power via an electrical extension cord. Check Greenworks website or do a search on this model number on Google to find a little more information to be sure.
how do I start the machine?
connor s on Dec 2, 2017
BEST ANSWER: when you stand behind machine, on right side there are 2 buttons marked 1 & 2
follow #'s 1 and then 2 which is the bar right below handle, this should start machine. Then you follow same after every time you stop and it shuts off. Have fun!
How do I rotate the thrower? It doesn't seem like it's connected to anything.
