The Cordless Paper Strip Framing Nailer completely raises the bar for cordless framing nailers. It is designed so you no longer need the dirty hoses, loud compressors or expensive gas cartridges. It's equipped with Hitachi's unique Air Spring Drive System that delivers similar performance as a pneumatic nalier, but offers total cordless freedom. It uses sealed compressed air to drive each nail, which results in zero ramp up time, up to 2 nails driven per second, recoil that feels like a pneumatic nailer and best of all, there is no refilling of the air tank required. This cordless nailer is ideal for all construction framing applications but is particularly useful for punch-out work on a jobsite for quick in-and-out operation with minimal hassle and professional results.
  • Unique Air Spring Drive System that uses compressed air to drive each nail resulting in zero ramp up time, increased driving speed, recoil that feels like a pneumatic nailer and quicker response time between drives
  • Brushless motor for longer run time per charge, less maintenance and increased durability
  • Drives up to 400 nails per charge using the compact 3.0Ah battery
  • Tool-less depth of drive adjustment for a professional finish with varying materials
  • Power switch located on control panel must be depressed for 1 second to activate the nailer and automatically switches off after 30 minutes of inactivity for added safety
  • Selective actuation on the control panel transitions between sequential mode and bump fire mode, when rapid nailing is preferred
  • Battery charge indicator located on tool control panel to easily check the available power in battery pack for less downtime
  • 30 degree magazine holds approximately 47 paper strip collated fasteners from 2 in. up to 3-1/2 in. in length
  • 10.6 lbs and well balanced for easy maneuverability

This is one great framing gun
This is the best battery framing gun I have used. When a cordless gun can drive 3 1/4" framing nails into LVL's you can't lose. It is a little heavy though, but it just takes some getting used too. I highly recommend this gun and the finish gun is just as good. No need for a compressor these days unless you have a big frame.

Great shooting nail gun.
This is one of the best and most powerful battery nail guns I’ve ever used. The only downfall is that it’s heavy to carry around but the power it has makes up for it. I frame houses and it will keep up with the air nailer and with no hoses it’s great for roof framing.

Go to nailer
I'm not a professional framer, so this is not written from that aspect.
I do lots of pick up work and tons of small jobs. So far this nailer is awesome. Always ready,
Quick pickup and go.
No hose or compressor to setup.
This nailer is super convenient to have in my truck.

The carry bag I just haven't clicked with yet. Maybe I shouldn't be carrying the charger with me but since I have yet to own the tool for more than 2 weeks I don't know how long the battery life is so I carry the charger. It does not fit that well in the bag and I think the only pocket that the charger its in is actually designed for strips of nails to be stored in. Not enough pockets in the bag for me.

The bag does not hold me back from liking this nailer a lot!
