This framing gun does great
I love the gun for sure just don't like the plastic that holds the nails together when you have to use it close to your face the plastic pieces fly's out and gets you in the face bad but other than that it's great !!!!

Great product
Great product for the money. It hits hard and performs very well. I researched a long time and concluded on this one, and glad I did.

Excellent value
To date, an excellent value. Used several times for residential projects and has performed flawlessly. Especially pleased to purchase it after a newer model was released, exact specs, only a small design change. Saved $100...always a good thing!! Not my first Hitachi purchase, and definitely not my last. ;-)

Stand up pro tool
This is clearly a professional tool and delivers every bit of top notch performance. Nailer is easy to adjust, light weight, and needs very little in way of training. Point, push, shoot! I looked at several (Milwaukee/Porter Cable, etc) and the Hitachi was the lightest and sturdiest built unit. The pro model with a 5 year warranty really means they stand behind their products! Just finished installing 48 2x2 inch arbor toppers, and the gun worked flawlessly with no hick-ups or shiners. Nice piece of equipment. Will look for more Hitachi products in future.

Awesome speed and power
Excellent tool but don't buy one if you like long hours and extending deadlines. This nail gun has excellent power with exceptional recovery time, efficiency at it's finest.

Easy to use
This is the first nailer I have ever purchased and used. It was easy to learn and even easier use. I am very satisfied with my purchase and may be purchasing others in the near future.

Great gun
This is a great, durable nail gun with all the features you'd want. The only downside is it doesn't come with a hook. I got one online that works, but even though it's the oversized one, it barely fits on a two by due to its position. I love that the gun is slightly lighter. With age comes aches and pains. The lighter weight helps.

The Framing Nailer is a workhorse.
I've never owned a framing gun before. I've always pounded the nails in with a framing hammer, the old fashioned way. When I took on a couple of major projects as a handyman, I made the leap in order to save my body. I started using the nailer/6 gallon compressor combo a few weeks ago and it has been a lifesaver! I would recommend it to anyone considering a new purchase.

New Vs. Reconditioned

What's the difference between New and Factory-Reconditioned?

Factory-Reconditioned products have been returned to the manufacturer and are restored to like-new operating condition; they go through a rigorous testing and inspection process. Plus, they offer a significant savings vs. new.
  • Reconditioned products may have minor cosmetic blemishes or scratches that do not affect item performance.
  • Reconditioned products may not come with all of the consumables the new version comes with (bits, sanding pads/papers, cases, etc.).
  • Both come with a manufacturer warranty and are covered by our Money Back Guarantee; New is 30 days, Reconditioned is 120 days.
