Good products with a few flaws
I recently purchased this product along with my new Hitachi compound miter saw. I was excited to have the feature of being able to leave my saw mounted, break down the stand, and roll it away.

So far I have been able to do this and work with it just fine. However a few observations to share that lead me to giving it just and average rating:

First day of use, one of the plastic feet on a leg fell off. So I snapped it back on and ensured the tables were aligned with the locking holes. Well they were deformed, so they did not seat properly. Day to of use the same foot is now cracked and continues to fall off. I'll be contacting Hitachi for a I cannot comment on service under warranty yet.

The next item of issue is the strength of the legs when tilting the stand up. I'm concerned that the locking pins are showing signs of weakness already only after about a dozen uses. I've actually resorted to removing the saw from the stand and reinstalling it out of concern the stand is not designed to hold the weight of the saw and be stood up...but then what's the purpose in your unable to break it down and roll away the saw?

Number three issue is that an empty stand will not stand up straight. The extending work bar forces the saw to sit an a slight angle, which lets it be off center of gravity and it will fall over.

Maybe I just need some more time of use to like it more, but my initial impression remains average.

Make sure you read the fine print. You can not put up stand with saw mounted ( not supposed to anyways) nor are you suppose to wheel the stand with saw mounted. Too much work. Buy the bigger and much better Hitachi stand that allows you to store it standing on end... Its great.

I think the stand was overall a good stand although for my 12 inch hitachi C12LSH saw to small. Would be excellent for smaller size saws.
Fairly stable good construction easy assembled. I have C12LSH hitachi saw had to brill holes in attachment pieces to move saw far enough back in stand for work piece to rest on supports Arrived on time over all good experience might would try larger stand next time

Very handy
The stand is very sturdy after you get it put together. The instructions aren't all that good but if you go slow you can figure out it for yourself. It would have been handy if they would have included an Allen wrench with the hardware.
