We needed a pressure washer to clean the garage floor, gutters, and exterior of our home. This unit provides a powerful spray and was exactly what we needed!

Small but mighty
I used the Karcher-K1700 pressure washer to wash the siding on my house and to clean the grease and oil stains on my concrete driveway. The concrete looks brand new again. I love the compact size but it is still powerful enough to clean stuck on grease and grime. It was easy to put together but putting the handle on was a little tough. It has a nice sized compartment to add soap and a big foot peddle to turn it on and off. It's easy to maneuver and the wheels roll nicely. Compared to other pressure washers it is relatively quiet when running. I know I will find many cleaning uses for this pressure washer. It really gets the job done!

I was stoked to be receiving the K1700 Power Washer! Truth be told, I had always wanted one! As soon as I got it, my first task was to wash the side of the house that had a bunch of gunk all over it. It did amazingly well! With ease, it took all of it away. I also used it on my car and car mats, and it does small tasks perfectly as well. I am a fan of this product, and now find myself trying to look for things that might need washing just so I can use it! It is easy to use, fairly light weight, and wonderful!

Good for light duty jobs....
I received the Kärcher K1700 Electric Power Pressure Washer 1700PSI 1.2GPM to try for free. It was fairly easy to put together and it came with 3 nozzles. When my husband first attached the hose it leaked, well it was a hose problem, not the pressure washer, so he brought the hose from the backyard to the front attached it the pressure washer and it worked fine. He used the medium nozzle and cleaned the driveway - it took awhile and he wished the pressure was higher and said he would use soap next time. He felt this product was best for light duty jobs.

Very compact
This power washer is very compact to make for easy storage. I have used it to wash my car and it worked very well. It was very easy to set up and use. Hose for handle was long enough that I did not have to move the power washer around. Electric cord was also a good length. Only complaint is that the attachment provided to connect the hose to the power washer was very cheap. It is made from plastic and I was afraid to tighten it down for fear of cracking it so the water was leaking out from the attachment. Will need to replace this with a better quality steel or brass attachment.

There's a small snag
This washer worked really well and looks like the basic washer will be durable. But on my third outing with the K1700 the pressure hose sprouted a leak near one coupling and this happened about a month after the 90-day accessory warranty ran out. I've been searching for a replacement hose but the part number is not in any of the documentation, either online or hard copy. So I'm hunting through the web for a $30 hose and because Karcher makes so many different washers I'm going to have trouble getting the right one. Didn't need to wash that side of the house anyway I guess.

Great washer, lousy connection
I bought this washer because of the amazon description of "all connections are metal". While technically that's true, the connector to the garden hose leaks badly.
There is also no description of it, so I am having a hard time to find a replacement. I don't want another plastic connector. I wished I bought the K1900 instead..
