Best Hammer Drill ever
The drill itself is great, powerful, light for the horsepower and the hammer function eases it’s way through concrete. The case is perfect too. Holds the drill fine of course but also has extra room for bits, adapters, cords and fasteners. Urganomically designed with the professional in mind. Highly recommended this drill for anyone. The price is great too. The only drawback for me is that it is not made in America, too bad.

Powerful drill as gift for a Pro
This is a powerful tool outside my needs; but as a gift for my brother, who works drilling in concrete and cinderblock frequently, this is the perfect gift. This thing is built to last. Definitely will need the side grip because the weight is all towards the chuck end. So balance will be a problem, and single hand use almost unrealistic unless pointing vertically downward (and I guess upward), but not horizontally. Nice big trigger and easy to pull; comfortable handle. Two speeds is a good feature.

Good drill for the price.
I use this drill every day since I bought it and so far so good. The bit slips sometimes but other than that it is a nice powerful little drill for the price.

This drill is advertised as a 3/4 chuck model. The reconditioned version is also advertised as a 3/4 chuck model, but under specifications of the recon version it says 1/2 inch chuck. Which is accurate?

woody on Oct 8, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It's got a lot of power , I wouldn't be afraid to try it providing you have a good bit .if you're drilling 20 holes it may need a cool down break or two, but you will probably need one as well.
