On its way becoming a favorite I hope!
Pros: lightweight, easy to use, well balanced, used it for a week now with no real issues.

Con: Under a heavy load, there's no other power to draw from; unlike a gas saw where pulling more on the trigger helps. Noticed having to re-tighten the chain more frequently. Because there's no tool required for this task, hand tightening a plastic knob doesn't keep the chain on for long. I could probably break this small but wide plastic lever in time.

Makita 120 volt Electric Chainsaw
Plenty of power; engine placement allows getting into tight spots; good balance...not too heavy; convenient automatic chain oiling with oil level easily seen; really convenient chain adjustment with no need for wrenches; cover removes very easily to clean out chain drive sprocket; no fussy gas engine to have to get to always! starts!; probably not the best choice for climbing and cuttting; excellent for ground based cutting; quiet!!! your neighbors will not be bothered by obnoxious chainsaw noise; I can't understand... why don't more people buy these electric chain saws
