Top marks - great vac
Absolutely fantastic vac- I have my crew using this to supplement cleaning by custodial services to get into the nooks and crannies to ensure a clean facility during our preventative maintenance visits. If any debris is generated on the job, this vac makes quick work of it by eating it all up while maintaining a low decibel level to promote our hearing health, minimize disruption to the operation and patrons, and offers the flexibility to not being tied down to an outlet especially when one is not often available in some of these facilities. Easy to clean and maintain. Hepa filter is great to keep some of the gunk out of our lungs. Not to heavy for me, but can vary from person to person depending on ability. This is a fantastic vac with two power options, both performing quite well. I was especially impressed at the lower function at how supremely quiet it was while maintaining quality suction. Great for office use and very portable. No smell of burning rubber belts or obnoxious noise.

Would have given 5 star but I have a issue with the hose and how it connects to to Milwaukee tools for dust extraction the part that connects from the hose to the tool is like a rubber material and is a extremely tight fit and over time now the rubber end is splitting apart.

Not for construction use
The hepa filter will clog up after any dust collecting especially drywall, making it more or less useless. I have very powerful compresser use it after every job to clean filter. Otherwise it's wonderful

Excellent backpack vacuum
This vacuum works great. I have been looking to buy a backpack vacuum for a while now, when I saw that Milwaukee had a cordless one I had to have it. I have used it on several of projects and it has performed great. With a 12.0 battery I can vacuum all the ceiling debris that I create while working without having to change out batteries.

Milwaukee backpack vacuum.
Works well with good suction. I like the two speeds. All accessories are constructed well. Only concern is the battery life. Easy to use and easy to clean. Comfortable to wear. Used one third of the battery life in ten minutes on high speed.

Lack of Power
It’s alright. I don’t recommend it. It’s heavy, bulky, not sure where to put the hose when I’m done with it. It’s real quiet. That’s nice. It works fine for saw dust & other light particles, but you have to go slow & it certainly isn’t picking up any nails or screws or anything like that- not with the floor attachment anyway. Maybe I need to play with it more. Overall, I’m not impressed, especially for the price point.

Vac awesome handle and vac head sucks
The vacumm is awesome. Works better than corded. But the hook up to handle digs into your hand. The vac head wont work on commercial carpet of any kind unless you want to fight it. I do commercial bldg maintenance and replace alot of ceiling tiles and it does not work well on the carpet. Mostly pulling not pushing. Also the vac head should be a little taller to vac larger debri from floor. In the process of buying new head from a different vender for carpet. But for 400.00 for the base tool i shouldnt have to buy anything. The vac head should work on all surfaces.

Super powerful and super quiet!!!!!
I have a 0880-20 Milwaukee vacuum and I love the power hate the noise. The 0885-20 is a an amazing upgrade. It is quiet and powerful, great attachments and nozzle. I added some small casters to make it even better, the upgrade was simple, just used the screw holes in the base.

Handiest tool I own!!
I bought this as a Christmas present last year, because I’m a sucker for the newest tool that Milwaukee comes out with. I only got to use it on job a couple times before I had to shift to a different type of construction that didn’t require as much cleanup, however I was very impressed with the power it had, as well as the long run time, ( using the 9.0 amp batteries).
Now that I’m making messes again on the job site, I use it almost everyday, that is when my employees aren’t grabbing it to use, so they don’t have to use the old corded shop vac. HaHa.

The only thing I wish it had was a longer hose for the times I don’t need to wear it, and just need to clean a spot across the room real quick.

That being said, I don’t really see that as a complaint. And that is why this is still the handiest tool I own!

I eventually will purchase another one at some point, that way I can have one for employees to use, so I will always have one available to use myself, so I don’t get stuck with “old corded shop vac”.
