5 year unconditional warranty I don't see what the problem is you get a bad one they will fix it or they will give you another one if you bought it 3 months ago bring it back to where you bought it from and switch it out I got a couple $1000 in Milwaukee tools 5 years nobody else out there has a 5 year warranty I have sent stuff back to Milwaukee Nate have a 3 day turn around 3 day I've done it 3 or 4 times now I'm sorry you're having problems with it but they will definitely make it right

Low On Power
Sent unit in for repair because it would cut out under any sort of load. Repair slip said electronic board replaced. It does seem a little better now, however if you put much of a load on it at all it will cut the motor out. Same behavior on all speed settings. I am an industrial maintenance technician and I was hoping to have the convenience of not using an air hose but the power is nowhere close to my air die grinders. I will likely take it home, it is good enough for around the house but overall I am disappointed.

No with out some upgrades to it
I bought this die grinder in oct when it first came out I am a heavy duty mechanic and just like other people have had this tool keep cutting off and having to restart like 20 or more times it is definitely not better than a air grinder although I was really hoping it would be since every other milwaukee tool I bought I have really liked

Not just for metal. I am a carpenter and fabricator and I use it for woodworking. I always used air but after buying this this is awesome. I recommend it to anyone in the field I'll be there carpentry or mechanics.

More powerful and half the noise then pneumatic
I purchased this a week ago, and used it non stop cleaning cylinder heads, engine block, oil pan etc... on a 15 year old Subaru engine I’m rebuilding. It cut through stuff the pneumatic struggles with at times. I primarily use it on the 10,000 rpm setting but even at 25,000 rpm’s it’s very quiet compared to my pneumatic which is very important to me in a smaller 3 bay shop.

We used it on wheel hubs, wheel beads, scuffing inside tires, ect. With our mobile tire shop less tools more space to work and no air lines. Light weight and compact. It's a great tool for our line of work.
