Small with a punch
I own the 7 1/4 Milwaukee, but not as young as I once was I wanted something that weighed less. The 6 1/2 fuel saw is perfect. The saw has plenty of power for framing and ripping. A bonus for me is the blade is on the left side as I'm right handed. My corded circular saw has its blade on the left side, maybe it's time Milwaukee offered the same in there 7 1/4 as well ?...

Super versatile and easy to use
It's a great professional saw to use. Plenty of power, easy to see where the cut is being made, reliable. Only issue is that I wanted the 7 1/4" in the right hand orientation, and they only make those in the worm-drive style.

Very impressive saw!
My new M18 Fuel circular saw has been used for cutting plumbing supports and backing for two new houses and for a pole building on my property.

Very impressed with this saw so far. Had the original M18 circular saw and everything about the M18 Fuel is better. More compact, lighter weight, faster, has an LED light and just feels better in your hand while using it.

Like that you do not have to hold the safety switch down with your thumb to operate the saw. Can push it down and it will stay, unlike the original M18 where you had to hold it down the entire time while cutting.

Very happy with the purchase. The Fuel model is definitely worth the extra money over the standard M18 circular saw. Highly recommend!!
