Awesome tool!
Instead of going crazy on Snap On Tools. This is worth the money. I used it for removing lug nuts at work.

I do not like the fact that you need a tool to take off the socket from the pin detent. Nice to have it secure. A tool should be supplied with the impact driver to help remove your socket.

This impact is amazing.
Some will say get the big guy and the stubby. But if you want the best of both worlds in one gun this is it. I still plan to get the stubby though for the hard to get at stuff. Maybe the ratchet too. I have a problem.

Nothing special, but completely useful.
Works great, doesn’t stand out as anything awesome, but it’s always reliable and adequate power for a lot of my jobs. Would be the perfect impact for a home gamer if you have to chose just one.

is there a difference between themed torque 2861-22 and the 2860-20 as far as torque specs? or is it just that one has friction ring and one the detent ball?
Mike R on Mar 13, 2018
BEST ANSWER: as far as I know they are the same tools with different anvils. I got the one with the detent pin as soon as it came out, now I wish I had waited for the 2861 as my other ones have the friction ring and they are much easier to use.
