Great Lathe
Love this lathe, great running and fairly quiet. The only thing I would change about it is, I would rather have it to have an automatic speed change instead of having to change the belts by hand. I have gotten used to doing it now and it's no big deat.

I agree with Jerry above. I would love to be able to order this lathe from _________ (fill in the blank) and have it come with the upgrade and not have to deal with an spare motor. Makes little sense to me.

Where do I find the spec's for this lathe? How many gears, a high and low? What are the rpm's, from low to high for both or number of. How are the speeds changed. The only side comment says similar to DVR Nova's. I am confused being a single phase, AC motor. Thinking real serious about purchasing, but non info, and the motor size for a 24 inch swing are making me wonder why the product info isn't available
BEST ANSWER: Go too Teknatool and down load the PDF on this lathe and others they make..
