Very good power for an electric
I bought this over 2 months ago and have used it on several occasions. I purchased a 2nd battery also and found that by the time 1 is discharged the 2nd will be fully charged so no waiting needed. The only fault I've found with this unit is they provide a slot in the handle for the wrench to keep the blade adjusted but with use it falls out. Other than that I can find no other faults with the product.

Bought mine a year ago and I was concerned about the battery longevity. Not a problem! It lasts about 10 minutes longer than I do! Its light in weight and doesn't tire me at all. Love that I don't have the noise, exhaust, and gas/oil mixing that my old saw has.

Homeowner grade saw with plenty of power
I have 4 gas chain saws, up to a 5 hp 24 inch bar stihl commercial saw. This is no substitute for those. I bought this because we already had the batteries and charger ( with the snapper lawn mower, with which we were very happy). I expected it would be nice to have something that was quiet for quick jobs around the house like trimming some over-length firewood to stove size. Indeed it is perfect for that. The 84 volts provides plenty of power. It is small guage chain, so it cuts a small kerf, making it efficient. (it is 3/8 pitch, but 5/16 file size). The base saw is what you expect for a low end homeowner saw. Do not expect it to stand up to heavy use. But unlike those saws which tend to come with low end temperamental gas engines, the electric motor should be very reliable.
I have used it several times - including cutting some hardwood up to 14 inches diameter, with no problem, and have yet to go through the first battery on any of the small projects.

Cordless saw
Thought I would give it a try...Not really designed for big jobs where you need power and longevity ..But for occasional trimming I guess it will be fine...I am going to have to buy another gaser for power cutting..

Small but mighty chainsaw
This saw is the match of an equal-sized gas powered saw. Quiet. Surprising stamina. Especially attractive if you already have the battery from a Snapper Lawnmower or leaf blower.

Best battery powered saw on the market
Awesome power. Much quieter than gas. Easy to use. No gas smell/exhaust. Less risk of fire. Lower maintenance than gas. Better than gas for high altitude opetations.

Awesome saw
I purchased the saw to replace a gas powered. It is terrific for the average homeowner. I cut down an 18 inch tree with ease. It is actually better than my old gas powered saw.
