This is a good general purpose hammer. As a professional, for years I did everything with my big Estwing framing hammer but, with its long handle, working on my knees would kick it out of the hammer loop. With all the yap about changes in hammer design allowing for lighter hammers I decided to try this one. I like it however, THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR WEGHT WHEN DRIVING BIG NAILS! One thing I really like is the axe handle design of the handle. When it gets sweaty it stays in your hand!
