Worked perfect!
The chipper was easy to set up, easy to use, and worked even better than I could have hoped for. I recommend this to everyone.

Still works great
We have had this product for probably about 3 years and we have really put it through it's paces and it keeps on delivering. I cannot describe how well it has worked. We have 33 pine trees in the back yard and have been feeding this machine for years. I don't think it will ever fail now.

Worth every penny.

Loose Flywheel nut
First one lasted five years. Second one ate itself on second use (first use was maybe three hours). Replacement almost ate itself before I discovered the flywheel bolt was lose. Tightened it. Is running fine.

Would have gotten sooner!!
I did NOT know that there was a wood chipper this small. The long & short of it is this; We bought a house in 2015. As a house warming present a relative came over & cut down several trees for us. We did not have ANY yard equipment. The problem is they cut them & left them on the property...
Fast forward to 2019. The trees are still on the property. They are an eyesore, we are worried that some animal might make a home in it. We don't have a vehicle large enough to haul them away, we can't get schedules to jive to borrow one, renting equipment &/or a truck is costly. We were not encouraged.
Then I stumbled onto a video of this chipper. I showed it to my wife. Our card got whiplash from how fast we used it to order our own.
As the pictures show. This Chipper is AWESOME! That took less than a month only working about 8 hours a week. I got more progress in that time than all the years of putting out the allowed amount on the curb.
WARNING: heed the AMP/ cord size advice in the box. I unknowingly killed mine by using the wrong sized/AMP power cord. I had to buy a second SunJoe.

This works best with green limbs and it doesn't miss a beat chewing them up. This is for a homeowner to use and makes a very desireable mulch

Great little chipper
I bought this late last year and i've stared at the box in my entry foyer all winter. Finally I unboxed it and used it in my yard today. What a great product. i gathered all the fallen branches from the winter and chipped them in an area i usually buy mulch for..... I chipped then spread the result and no need to buy mulch. Great!. It did get stuck a few times and i think the branches were still within 1.5 inches but it's easy enough to clear by opening the hopper. Glad i purchased it.

Chipper Joe is the best!
Bought a ‘chipper’ a few years back after a big windstorm with one major deciding fact of it being electric and easier to use. Typical suburban lot but branches all over the place and no place for them to go. ‘Joe’ became not only my yard buddy but made the neighbors very happy too. After that cleanup, I’ve found that all my regular cleaning of perennial beds has become much easier too. Not to mention the mulch is better for them plus a cost saver.
When he got dropped in a move I was heart broken and wanted to get him fixed. I thought the product was great, then I got in touch with the Customer Service. Talk about a GREAT group!! They took care me and I have my yard buddy Back in Excellent working order. great product that is stood behind by a great company! Thanks

great for twigs
Does well on twigs and small branches but you have to feed them a few at a time. Forget trying to shred leaves- the hole is too small. This is a chipper only!

Surprising performance in a small electric chipper
I use this chipper to create mulch after I do cleanup on the brushy borders of my yard. It does everything it's supposed to do. Sometimes a branch gets wedged inside, but it's a very simple matter to open the chipper and fix this. Love the Sun Joe for its ease of use and its performance. Replacing the blades is extremely easy, which, if you've ever looked at blade replacement for a gas-powered chipper, is a real selling point. I don't need larger limbs chipped, as I burn them in my fire pit. So for me this is the ideal machine.
