The Troy-Bilt Mustang 54 is powered by a 25 HP/724cc Briggs & Stratton V-Twin Professional Series engine that provides plenty of power to mow larger lots or for extended periods of time. This residential-use zero-turn rider is ideal for larger, flat to slightly hilly yards and is designed to reduce mowing time by turning on a dime with the dual hydrostatic transmission and lap bar steering controls. You can easily adjust the cutting height from 1.25 in. - 3.75 in. with the 8 position height adjustment lever and quickly engage the blades with electric PTO blade engagement. Reduce lawn turfing with the added support of 4 deck wheels and make clean up easier with the integrated deck wash adaptor. A high back seat makes for a more comfortable ride. Add versatility to your zero-turn rider with optional attachments like a rear bagger or mulch kit. You can depend on Troy-Bilt to keep yardwork from feeling like a chore, and we won't let you down.

Cuts like a dream!
I've had my mower for about 2 months and can honestly say that it cuts better than any previous mower that I've used---including a friend's Husqvarna zero turn and much better than my old tractor riding mower. Very comfortable to use for long periods and the integrated deck wash is really nice.

I did have a little bit of a problem when first purchased. One of the rear tires refused to stay inflated. After figuring out that the wheel was defective, I called Troy Bilt support and they shipped me a brand new wheel and tire. Haven't had a problem since. The support rep was awesome!

Easy to run
I bought this about 2 months ago. First time running if it I was on the upper flatter position of the road ditch and I hit a bump the mower turned on it own and went right in the ditch. I had been stuck with each use of the mower. I bought some tractor lug tires for it and has made the world of difference!! I watch the turns so not to tear up the turf but I am really like the mower! I especially like the under deck wash hook up.

Rugged workhorse
Purchased this mower two weeks ago , my Cub Cadet burned up on me ( Drive belt caught fire. Four weeks growth but the 54” Mustang did great with the high grass. So far so good. Very much faster than the Cub. Drives well, not as loud and very responsive. Good looking and rugged too!
