Trimmer Features are GREAT...batteries are Awfuk
We are on our third season with our trimmer and once again the battery needs to be replaced. Have had to buy a new one every year (stored inside not in garage). It's no longer worth the cost to replace them every year. As much as I loved the trimmer (light, easy start, convenient)....have to go back to gas! :-( All my good stars are for the performance and features of the actual trimmer...the batteries negate all the good.

OK, but needs improvement
Been using mine for about 2 years. Have had to purchase 3 addt'l batteries (4 total as they stop holding a charge after several months of usage (once a week). I'm 5'9" and have to bend over to reach and edge the grass, so at 65 I end up being sore by the time I'm finished.

The 24 volt battery don"t hold a charge. Put it on the charger the green light comes on in a short time . Put it on the trimmer , it comes on then right off. Is there anyway to check the battery?

Boo for the battery
I have had my 20 volt trimmer for 3 years. The second year I bought a second battery so I could finish trimming my yard without stoping to recharge. That did not do it either. Batteries do not last very Long at all maybe 20 minutes at best and that is not trimming tall grass. Disapointed in that but everything else I am happy with.

The Greatest
I've owned the trimmer for about a year now, and by far this is the best one I've owned to date. The batteries don't loose there charge when sitting for a long time. It powers through even the hardest and tallest weeds. It edges great as well.

What the infomercial didn't say......
Love my new trimmer, first time buyer. Works very well, light enough, but after running mine for about 30 minutes on and off....you need to use the second battery which is probably why they give you two batteries.

Regarding the battery, it does not recharge quickly, I have not timed it but I would say to recharge a battery takes about 3-4 hours. So charge both batteries before you decide to go trimming the yard so you can swap them out when the first one gives out.

Best Tool In the Garage
I have had my trimmer for 5 years and I'm buying the new model with the lithium batteries. Everyone compliments the way our lawn looks, especially the edging. It also comes in very handy when I go to the cemetery to take of my families area and the others around. It lives up to the hype!!!!!

The tool works great but converting the tool from edger to trimmer and back is not at all intuitive and not described well in the Owners Manual

Handle does not extend long enough for a taller person. Works great, just way too short. Needs to extend at least another foot.

Where can I get replacement line/spools?
Pete on Jun 17, 2016
BEST ANSWER: We sell the replacement spools online. The part number is WA0010.
I just received the WORX 56V max lithium only to find out the lifetime trimmer spool is not available for this model. Can you tell me why? I am ready to return it for one that costs less and offers this.
RGT on Aug 22, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Please contact the manufacturer direct at 1-866-788-7394 for technical assistance.
Is this the same one that comes with the lifetime of spools that I saw on tv?
Voni on Jul 11, 2015
BEST ANSWER: No, this model if ordered from CPO will not come with a lifetime supply of spools.
Does it come with a charger or do you have to buy it separately? Also, do you have a store/dealer in ND where these are sold to view them in person?
Jeff on May 22, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Yes, this includes a standard 3 to 5 hour charger. Also, we do not have a store in ND. We are an online distributor in Lawrenceville, GA.
