Have used a handful of times so far on a re-siding project. Handles my single nail gun without difficulty. Light weight and compact. Maybe it's loud; maybe it isn't? I don't have a frame of reference as this is my first compressor. But it definitely does what I need it to do, and is probably capable of much more.

Great for finish work on a job site where power is available.
It's supposed to be the quietest compressor in its class, but hey, there is no such thing as a truly quiet compressor, so this is relative. The connector setup is a little different than the standard picture, with one out the right side and another one out the front. It works well. I use it to power an 18 gauge first generation Milwaukee nailer for finish work, and it's perfect for that.

One general caveat for folks setting up their first air tools. NPT pipe thread sizes are based on the inside diameter of 19th century galvanized pipe. So a 1/4" NPT fitting for your hose is actually a tad over 1/2" compared to the NC/NF thread system. And, don't get more hose than you need, since the pressurized hoses are not flexible like a power cord. Too much hose is a royal pain in the keister. The unit is light and easy to move around. If you want more length use a good extension cord and move the unit as needed. A 25' hose is a good choice for most applications. The one exception might be for sharing a unit between two users, which it is setup to do , and can handle quite easily. But frankly, I would be tempted to get a second unit rather than longer hoses.

GARBAGE COMPRESSOR
Purchased one to replace a Porter Cable Pancake of 15 years, This P.O.S. burned out in less than two years; using on average of 1 day every other month. First it wouldn't reach its shut off at 150 and ran forever; letting it sit for a while then turned it back on where it pumped to 140 and shut off FOR GOOD!
Out of Warranty, Out of Luck.
Don't be a sucker fool like me-Buy Porter Cable or Senco in this class of compressor; just cut loose with the money, you'll be thankful.

great for what it's for
As a carpentry contractor i have several compressors. But I'm getting too old to be lugging any unnecessary heavy things so I added this to the tool room mainly for jobs I work alone.

I can't find a thing wrong with this tool for running nail guns on smaller jobs. It did have one fitting that leaked slightly right out of the box but that was an easy fix. Only time will tell about durability but so far I love this little guy.

I would not recommend it for running more than one nailer at a time [2 finish guns maybe], you should accept the limits of 2.6 cfm air delivery or buy a bigger unit. When i hear a small compressor like this running almost constantly I cringe, that's tool abuse.

arrived in like new condition with an owners manual. only had for about two weeks and have only used it a few times but it works great. pumped up a car tire, works nail guns and staplers real well, not so good for constant air like paint sprayers, it will work but you need to give it some break time.

New out of box but no pressure. How long does it take to build pressure, had on for 5 minutes or longer and needle barely moved.
Kathye on Jun 4, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Under the pancake there is a little knob that you suppose to tighten. That
holds the pressure in. If you did that already, and still no pressure, most
likely you got a lemon.
My pressure gauge showing no pressure right out of box. Left running 5 minutes still no pressure. How long does it take to build up pressure?

When the cut out pressure stops, it won't automatically start filling with air, any suggestions?

What is horsepower?
A shopper on Dec 6, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It pulls about 10 amps which you could interpret as .75 hp. Or not as motor efficiency plays into the equation as well. But hp. hardly matters on a small air compressor what i look for is air delivery. You need to know what the air requirements of your application are and size your compressor accordingly.
I am curious where this compressor is made or assembled.
Paul on Nov 3, 2015
BEST ANSWER: This compressor is manufactured in China
