Reliability and convenience built in
I'm a chainsaw carver/sculptor and try to run all cordless tools for finishing details (die grinders, angle grinders, drills) but sometimes instead of having to stop and change bits, I will use the corded tools in conjunction with the cordless. Works great since power isn't always available and when it is, it charges the batteries. It's also good beyond construction and carving. When storms came through and power went out, a friend who uses a CPAP machine along with an oxygen pump for sleeping purposes started to panic. I placed 4-9ah Flexvolt batteries on and plugged in the machines, solving the problem. One of the best things I've used instead of running the generator.

Game changer!!!
Before you ever get into any platform you need to check this product and then think on tour investment into the future, anyone has drills or saws (not same quality but they do) the thing is this kind of products are the reason I love Dewalt. That’s why is Dewalt and the others...

I use this on my Tiny house LED lights for like half an eternity, TV and my Nintendo Switch. Hope one day they get into the Portable solar game because with my Goal Zero Yeti solar panel combine with this are my entire electrical system when I go camping. I am actually thinking on a project of running a Tiny house just with Dewalt and Yeti....

I probably should get a job with this guys xD

Great in any situation
Had this item for 3 month now and it saves me plenty of time and physical power. No more sledge hammer hitting ground rods. Extension cord to short no worries. I can make a commercial with this. It’s a great product to have.

I love the power station. It charges all my batteries and then I can also use it to quietly power my lights under my canopy. Fantastic product. Keep up the great work

Glad I bought one
Bought primarily as a backup power source for my salt water marine tank. It's come in handy more than once. The only problem I've had is on two occasions I've had batteries that the charger would not acknowledge. Dewalt swapped out these for new ones.

Excellent, doesn't work with all tools.
The first thing I plugged into it was my Dewalt belt Sander. It would not start. I thought the brand new unit was defective. It was not, it will not power everything. I got it started and it ran funny.I couldn't start it again. Everything else I have plugged in has performed perfectly.

No USB outlets?
Dewalt has a frustrating habit of putting out products that could be great, but are always missing one critical feature. Case in point, this charger. How can it not include USB outlets, when its lesser chargers do? Another example is its latest car battery charger which, unlike the unit it replaces, doesn't have AC/DC outlets. I hope the next version doesn't leave out this critical feature.

Not that great.
This is basically an overpriced battery charger. On the recommendation of some of my employees, bought this for our job trailer. Used it to charge or our 60v max Flex Volt 6.0ah batteries. Thought that I'd give it a shot tonight to power our Christmas parade float. This pack was only able to run 4 strands of Christmas icicle lights for 45 minutes and them died halfway through the parade. Pretty disappointed. Especially after reading reviews from others saying that they ran tv's, welders, compressors, and refrigerators for multiple hours. Batteries are less than a month old and fully charged.

Can this generator power a home?
A shopper on Dec 19, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The power station is designed to power a single item at a time. Attempting to power an entire house would most likely exceed the rated amperage of the unit, as well as severely limit the battery run time.
Does regular dewalt batteries work for this?
A shopper on Aug 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The powerstation will work with Dewalt 20v and/or 60v batteries only
Could it power a built in electric air mattress pump?
A shopper on Jul 7, 2017
BEST ANSWER: As long as the pump is rated at 15 amps or less, then there should be no problem with using the power station to operate the pump for the short term.
Is this platform snap able to t Stak or tough system boxes...?

BEST ANSWER: No, This unit is only for 20 volt batteries.
Will this keep my 2200W fridge going during power outage?
A shopper on Nov 16, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It’s rated for 1800 Watts or less. It would run a smaller refrigerator. Lights, fans, even a microwave that is less than 1800 Watts. I use it camping & on the construction site where it runs a 12” Chop saw all day.
what is watt output when 4, 60 volt flexvolt batteries are in powerstation ?
A shopper on Nov 6, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The wattage output of the station will not vary between the different batteries that can be used, as they all connect to the station at 18v nominal input. Only the run time will change due to the size of the batteries used, and this is limited by the smallest battery in any grouping used. So, the watt output is whatever is stated in the manual for the power station.
How long will it last if you run a 1500 watt heater?
