Great little saw
Its nice and light, great for strapping on the quad. Battery life with the 12.0 is quite surprising. Great unit for lighter clearing work.

Weird handle
Saw has good power. Handle is weird and long. Hadle should have been where battery is and battery under the handle. Saw is so long it’s hard to store in vehicle or tool box. Used once, now it’s listed on eBay. Looking for something more compact.

I love it!
Due to shoulder problems pulling on a starter cord was becoming a "no go" so I decided to give a battery operated chainsaw a try. After reviewing many different makes I settled on the Milwaukee and am glad I did. It is quick and convenient to use as I have lots of trees on my land and they are always in need of trimming. This saw works absolutely great!

It's a great chainsaw, but.....
It has a lot of power, but it definitely has issues with the bar and chain. The chain won't stay adjusted very long and the bar flexes way too much. I corrected the problem with a.050 bar and chain setup. You should really change it to that. I would still recommend it.

Used it for first time to cut up a lot of cedar. Seems good to make a cur set saw down and not have it idling vibrating around or restarting it too. The chain cut width is narrower than normal but it cut fast and well. I was running a 9 ah battery in it not the 12 ah one, but it lasted quite long. Bar oil I'm guessing last about as long as a battery , will find out the 12 ah battery. The bar tool stowed underneath the saw is handy but a pain to get it out, I tightened the chain after a little use. Which was really easy to tighten took longer to get tool out of saw. Saw has good power for bucking logs or just limbing trees, a real good purchase.

Does it still require bar oil like a traditional gas chain saw?

Is the ChainSaw veritable speed?
A shopper on Nov 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No mine is not. I will tell you this though, it is a man. I would not tale anything for mine. To have that much power and be so quiet is amazing. But it is just like everything else I have made by Milwaukee, tough as nails.
I read in one of the reviews a owner replaced the bar with a Stihl 16” bar. I have a gas powered stihl saw with extra bar, will that work on this saw?
Jrbv00 on Nov 20, 2018
BEST ANSWER: You should be able to use it.. but to make sure just contact Milwaukee customer service.. they are very nice and extremely helpful.. might even send you a new bar
Is it quiet enough to use on a Sunday morning without disturbing nearby neighbors?
A shopper on Nov 11, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It is not anywhere as noisy as a gas powered chainsaw. Your lazy neighbors will not be disturbed.
