After unpacking I removed the table to reduce weight and layed the machine on its spine resting on two dollies so that I could roll it into my walkout basement. It wouldn't fit through the doorway standing upright. I recommend two people for this. Powermatic service said to keep the machine on its spine so that the two large wheels are vertical. "putting it on the back of a pickup with the wheels horizontal could result in a twisted neck which would make the wheels non-coplanar".
The instruction manual was complete and easy to understand. I reassembled and aligned the table and the blade guide bearing. The only problem I had was a loud chirping sound coming from the belt. Tightening the belt solved this problem. Doing so was a 2 to 3 minute tool-less procedure that involved rotating the black lever to loosen the motor mounting, pushing on the chrome handle to apply more tension and then tightening the black lever. The belt should move 1/2" between the pulleys. I unfortunately loosened the belt first thinking the belt was too tight. Running the machine with a loose belt resulted in damage to the side of the belt.
I found Powermatic added a sheetmetal assemble under the table surrounding the blade that would enhance sawdust collection.
I do not have enough time operating the machine to provide meaningful input on how well it cuts. That will be for a later comment.
I have a few additional comments though.
The machine came with a few wrenches to adjust it. I used small magnets to attach them to the saw to keep them handy.
The following procedure can be used to place the saw on wheels: rock the saw front to back CAREFULLY placing 17" strips of would underneath so that the saw sits a couple of inches above the ground. Mount the wheels then rock the machine again to remove the wood.

Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
Q & A :
When delivered it's on a pallet, in a wood crate with a height of at least
seven feet. Moving it through a seven foot high residential garage door
opening is challenging.
