Find the Right Model For You

"Easy as 1-2-3" Tankless Selection

If your home has 1-2 bathrooms, you should consider a Rheem RTG-64 series water heater. For 2 to 3 bathroom homes, the larger RTG-84, RTG-95 or RTGH-95 series water heater should be selected.

Rheem now offers a new condensing tankless water heater series called Prestige (series RTGH-95). These units are highly efficient and use condensing technology to give them an efficiency rating of .94. Condensing technology uses the water vapor from the exhaust to heat the incoming cold water which means less gas consumption and more savings in your wallet.

For homes, offices, or apartment buildings with more than 3 bathrooms, large volume demands for hot water, or hot water circulating systems, two or more like models can be linked together with the EZ-Link cable or in a manifold configuration.

Best Fit Selection

Important factors to consider are incoming cold-water temperature, size of gas supply line, and the amount of hot water required during "peak" demand times which vary from home to home. A combination of all these factors is necessary to determine an accurate tankless selection.

Rheem Electric Point-of-Use Tankless Water Heaters

The Rheem tankless electric products are ideal for point-of-use applications to get instantaneous hot water on demand. All Rheem tankless electric products are energy efficient and designed to fit almost any location.

The main advantages of the point-of-use electric models is their compact size and the ability to instantly heat water on-demand. No more waiting around for hot water at your sink while wasting water. In addition, there is no minimum water flow requirements to heat the water. Other conveniences include LED status lights, on-unit temperature control, and modulating power to save electricity depending on demand.

Rheem produces 3, 7, 9, 13, 18, and 27 kW models that are designed to give you maximum water flow depending on your demands. For homes, condos, and apartments we recommend RTE-3, RTE-7, or RTE-9. For larger applications such as restaurants, hospitals, and labs we recommend RTE-13, RTE-18, or RTE-27. It is important to remember that these units are point-of-use only and are not recommended for whole house applications which include showers and washers.
