Important information to help you find the right power tool

Battery vs Gas Power Tools

Gas-powered tools generate a high power output and are ideal for outdoor tasks like landscaping or construction where extended runtime and power are essential. They require regular fuel refills and maintenance and are noisier, which makes them better suited for professional or large-scale projects and less suited for those who have neighbors who want to sleep in on the weekend.

Battery-powered tools are portable and more quiet than gas-powered tools for the most part. They’re easy to start making them convenient for indoor or DIY jobs. Recent advances in battery technology have improved power and runtime, which surprises people trying out battery-operated tools for the first time.

New vs Reconditioned Power Tools

New power tools have never been used, come directly from the manufacturer, and include the latest features and warranties.

Reconditioned tools have been returned to the manufacturer or retailer, where they’re thoroughly inspected, repaired, and restored to like-new condition, often at a lower cost. While they may show minor signs of previous use, reconditioned tools are tested for quality and usually come with a warranty, making them a budget-friendly option without sacrificing performance.

What our customers are saying...

Better than advertised

Bought this just in time, was hoping to buy it and just have it for just in case situations and it has came in handy and paid for itself already. I've used it for 2 hurricanes 1 using it for over a week and the next about half a week. Then just an occasional power outage and now here I sit writing the review because it deserves it as we had an ice storm in Louisiana and been without power and it's going on running for 36 hours straight and haven't had the slightest problem with it. I will eventually upgrade to a bigger one but this one does just fine with running 2 heaters and alternating fridge and freezer with other little things for kids such as tv and DVD player.

Fast and easy pex installation

I am a handyman and remodeler by trade and I bought this to make joining pex easier and quicker in my bathroom and kitchen remodels. I have used it a few times now and must say that it’s much easier and faster than crimping. So far I haven’t had a single leak. Another plus is that the connectors are much cheaper than the brass crimp connectors.

Makita is the reason craftsman make life happen.

I have at least 50.000 worth of Makita tools. I painted my truck Makita Blue. By using Makita verses other brands, I make an extra 10,000 dollars a year. The battery’s last forever And hardly ever malfunction, I’ve got 5 year old battery’s that are at 80%. DeWalt is a battery just away from a malfunction, Milwaukee is better but has a way to go in battery technology. I know cause I own them as well.
