Runs great.
Have had it over a month. I love that it 'vacuums' and mulches leaves even better than my last B&D electric mower that lasted 20 years. Great product.

I liked my last Black & Decker mower, so I bought this one as a replacement. This one is bigger. It runs fine. I am not fond of the way the bag attaches. Other than that, it is wonderful, as are all your products.

Died
Second time using this thing and it just died half way through the lawn. I only had a few longer patches, everything else was really short and thin and yet whenever I went through a thicker patch, it struggled. Finally it just stopped all together. I hate dealing with returning and exchanging products - it's such a waste of my time. I'm very disappointed.

This is my 2nd one to own...gave my 1st one to my daughter-in-law to be able to do her yard when my son was not home. I love that I can just plug it in and mow, no gas, no oil, none of that to mess with. After 5 years of owning this mower brand and, specifically, this 3 in 1 style I have had on both electric mowers I will never own any other kind. It does a perfect job on my lawn, I get compliments all the time, and is still tough enough for the woody type weeds in the alley all behind my fence!! Maintainence is practically zero for this 66 year old single woman!!

Bad Product
I bought this mower from Home Depot September 2017 and mowed my Bermuda front and back yards in Phoenix Arizona about 5 times each when the motor simply ran down and stopped. I took the cover off the top to look at the motor. To my shock it was smoking and the entire inner cavity where the motor is was filled with dirt and grass. This is a very poor designed mower. Because I do not plant winter grass I knew I wouldn't really need to mow again until spring. I took the mower to an authorized service and repair and replacement center April 2018 that the website gave me. The service representative said these are not worth repairing so he would exchange it for a brand new one and said this was will be covered for the extent of the 2 year warranty remaining which was 18 more months. Guess what? 3 months later, now July 2018 the exact same thing happens. This mower just stops running and the motor is burned out again. This time I may have mowed the front and back 6 times each, (normal, seasonal mowing. Here is the sad part, after every use of this second mower, I took the motor cover off and shop vacuumed the entire mower. Still,, Failure. After going through 2 mowers I still have 13 months warranty left and I plan to pack it up and take it back to the authorized service dealer. Warranty or not, this mower is a poorly designed and manufactured product.

The grass catcher attachment is not designed well.

Good product and works well.
I'm pleased with the mower overall, however it would be nice if the handle could be pivoted rather than turning the entire mower with the cord. I had one of these back in the 80's and loved it but the engine burned out - too bad. Otherwise, it's lightweight, cuts clean and is easy to clean.

I originally bought a smaller model but returned it. This model works great! I wish it cut closer to the fence but overall, I’m very happy.

Unbelievable value really a step up from my original B&D 19" Corded
PROS:
Received mower and assembly was a breeze. I previously owned the 19" mulching mower from Black and Decker that lasted over 10 years. I was so glad to have a mower because the leaves had come down for about two weeks and I couldn't get to them. I plugged in and started mowing set the level to 2 the mower obliterated the leaves (they were relatively dry) turning them to powders and bits. I had the plug in and did not bag. Absolutely AMAZING I only used the bag to go over some thick areas that didn't completely mulch and the sidewalk and driveway. If you have a moderate sized yard and want a great mower at a super price this is the one to buy. I only mowed my front and backyard but from my previous experience as long as you listen to the machine and don't drive it to cut low on tall grass and keep the engine constant.. this is the mower for you. If you have young kids learning and can be trusted with electricity and sharp blades the mower is extremely light and easy to handle another plus.. Well, obviously I'm a true Black and Decker Electric Mower Fan but .. really you guys did a Super Job on this mower.
CON:
Only thing would be if the bag mesh was tighter and didn't leak dust but for me that's a minor concern howevery if you have children or family that have allegies I'd tell them to stay back while mowing leaves. Grass areas didn't have the dust issue.

Wonderful mower for the single person and for the mechanically challenged!
I ordered this online via a popular retail chain. It came by UPS in one box, not fully assembled. However, once put together (with no tools at all) and instructions read, this nifty and tough machine was easy to start and mowed up my moderate size lawn (including the crab grass!). I have worked with gas mowers, so the easiness of the corded electric is an amazing contrast for someone who is 5'4". I do not know yet how it bags, but the mulching feature with the side discharge works well. The height adjustment for the mower itself is easy to use when you need to work over gopher mounds. Although I love the way I can better store this mower because of the handles, I feel I have to handle them with kid gloves in order to make sure I can use them again when mowing. If you do not want the overall hassle or the weight of a gas mower, this electric mower by Black and Decker can help keep your lawns looking well kept.
