Incredible Engineering and Capabilities
I was given this saw as a gift and have been extremely impressed by the level of detailed engineering put into the tool. It has performed flawlessly and so far I haven’t found something it can’t do.

The gravity rise stand is very nice as well as the features this saw offers. 1 year and 3 weeks after purchase the rear bearing froze and melted the motor housing. I know two other people who totally abuse and neglect theirs and theirs is still going strong. I just don't get it - I took very good care of it. It's cleaned during and after every use, wipe and blow any saw dust away. I've always used dust collection but somehow the most important bearing goes out killing the machine. The cost of replacement parts are such that it makes more sense to buy new. I wish Bosch would make it right because this should have never happened so soon. I'm looking at other brands, but all my jigs are built for this machine. Just heart breaking to be saw-less with so many projects to do. I would still recommend to others, even though I must have gotten a lemon.

Best saw on the market
This is a great saw. I have a another brand of saw that is also portable but its no comparison to this saw. the only thing is to put in down takes some practice but it is powerful enough to handle anything put thru it. I would recommend this saw to everyone.

Assembly was straight forward but the instructions could be improved with better graphics. The saw works wonderfully. The collapsing table is fantastic.

Quality & stability, impressed with
The quality applies also to side and rear table extension accessories: . Quite surprised with their strength. Each supported with two extending chrome plated solid rods. The rear support bars exceed 1/2' diameter. I do not think anyone could possibly be disappointed with this saw. A good deal of thought is incorporated in the design. Certainly not a con, simply an observation: My stacking dado type blade fits well. My "wobbly" style dado is too thick to get past the dust enclosure which surrounds the bottom of the blade. The stacking dado set at 3/4" works well. I have owned table saws more than 40 years.
