Lots of power
I finally got to use my RS325 reciprocating saw for the first time. WOW, hit has lots of power; more than enough for diyers like myself. I had thought about buying the 14 amp model but $40 off the regular price on this RS325 was too good to pass up. And I’m glad I bought this model because it has more than enough power for any job I will come across around my house. I definitely recommend the RS325!

Love it!
I am so glad I bought this reciprocating saw. It is lightweight and easy for me to handle. I got the one with a cord on it so I could use electricity and save gas. I just use a really long extension cord. It is even simple to start - just press the trigger. I usually am not able to start the gas-powered chain saws. I was surprised at how easily and quickly it cut through tree limbs. It even cut through ones I thought it wouldn't be able to do. The only thing I was not pleased with is that sometimes the blades will bend if you are not careful. All in all I am extremely satisfied with this product.

Disappointed
I bought this for pruning and used it only a few times when the blade broke off inside the head where the broken off piece couldn’t be reached to remove it, even with pliers. After many tries and the imbedded blade piece would not dislodge and fall out — despite lots of tries. Disassembling the head is the only solution, but the process is complicated and tricky. Broken blades are a common problem and they often break in a way that can’t be reached for removal. So why aren’t these tools designed for a DIY remedy of this common problem? End of my story: Rather than send the tool in for repair, I luckily found a lock picker who fixed it with his tools on site. Should have been an easier DYI fix!

Great saw
Saw is great I was expecting a hard plastic case (per description) but received a canvas bag with the saw.I think the hard case protects the saw a little better in the back of my truck

Excellent Investment
I routinely use this saw for my home renovation work and cleaning up the yard in Spring and Fall. Power and quality and what I like most about this saw. It's not my first Bosch power tool and it won't be my last. My only problem is that my wife, who avoids all of the other power tools, has started using it to clean up the trees in the yard and now refers to it as "our saw". I guess that speaks to the quality as well

Beefy
I needed a good reciprocating saw to get through the nails and hunts of lumber in the the doors and windows I've been replacing in a house I just purchased. The last one I had was a piece of junk, although it was a donation from a friend whose father passed away and had no use for it. This saw cut everything I have thrown at it. EVERYTHING. The only thing I can say that is negative is that it is it gets a little heavy after a while but most people are not going to have as much to cut as I did at once. This was an amazing price on the tool and I would recommend the tool to everyone.
