Great fan-If you have the 20 volt Dewalt system
Where can you take a fan with you on the go with the power, this Dewalt fan has. It is quite as well. I would recommend this fan, you will not be sorry.

Well built, long lasting, worth the money.
Creates a decent amount of air flow. Portable and hangs just about everywhere. Get 8hrs out of a 4ah battery. Built tough. I would buy again and recommend it to otheres

Great idea. Could be better.
I love the idea behind this fan and actually pretty good, but the only down side to this fan is it that it does not have that strong of force behind it. I build yachts for my career and I feel like this fan is only effective in small tight places. I truly wish it had more force behind the air flow.

Try to find matching battery/charger/cord :-(
The fan sells online without any power accessories. Now, try to find that by yourself with no help from DeWalt or someone who knows.
Guys, that would be really helpful to have a few accessory links accompanying each item you show here on your site. It will help your (perspective) customers to understand what they might need.

Didn't realize how much I would like this
Hummed and hawwed for a bit wondering if I would actually use this, but decided to go for it - and glad I did. I run a degree or two hotter than the average person - so this is great for work when out on set, in the RTT to keep condensation down, and all-around awesome for putting wherever on hot summer days.

Great...until it quit working
Purchased Fan Jan 2018, used very little until this late summer. Runs for awhile and then quits. I turn switch off and back on, fan runs ~30 seconds and quits again. I switched in fresh/charged batteries several times with same result. Will be contacting for warranty assistance. I have all DeWalt tools-first time with problem.

Best battery operated fan on the market
We bought this for a somewhat non-traditional purpose, camping. After extensive research into options for tent fans, we found that none of them worked very well. They either didn't move much air, or the batteries didn't last very long. When you are taking a family camping in a tent in Texas in the middle of the summer, you need a way to cool off. We have had the Dewalt fan since it came out a few months ago and could not be happier. We have not found a battery operated fan on the market that moves more air or lasts as long on a single battery. Depending on the speed of the fan, we have found that we can easily get 2-3 nights use on a single FlexVolt battery. The fact that I can simply pack multiple batteries and use for a longer period of time makes it invaluable. When you are camping in sites without electricity, you don't have the option of plugging your fan in to recharge on long trips, so your options are limited. Most fans with replaceable batteries only use disposable C or D cells. While you can use rechargeable batteries for this, packing enough for a long trip takes up a lot of space and weight. With two FlexVolt batteries in my pack, I can keep our tent cool for almost a full week. Although the fan is not as light or compact as many tent campers would want, we compared to a D cell powered 10 inch fan that we have been using. The Dewalt and two batteries took up significantly less space and weighed significantly less than our other fan and the 24 D cell batteries it would take to power the fan for the same length of time. It also came in handy when a storm knocked out the power at our house. I would definitely recommend this fan to anyone, but especially to those seeking a great option for keeping cool while off the grid.
