XTREME 12V MAX Brushless 3/8 in. Cordless Impact Wrench - DCF902
Good price, plenty of power for the majority of a home mechanics work
Nice and compact, handier than my 1/2" air or electric impact for all but the toughest jobs. Great for medium duty work on my 4 wheeler, truck, etc. Enough torque to snug up lugnuts most of the way, which is fine because I like to do the final torque by hand anyway. I'll definitely be packing this on trips where I bring a tool box. Great price too!
I bought this for working on cars. The size is perfect when your underneath a car and need some power to get bolts loose. The only thing I wish it had was a little more break power but 200 ftlbs is very good for its size.
I bought this today I'm trying to take off a bolt from my truck seat and never did. The equipment loose power very quick in 2 minutes and was battery full charge. Getting hot quick too, I expect moore from Dewalt honestly
Very compact and good ergonomics. I tried to back off lug nuts that were torqued to 125 lbs and it wouldn't do it with a full battery. This isn't really designed for that, but just for reference. The 3 different selections from the button on top are very nice. Great for all around use
This is a great tool for home projects or a hobbyist. I’m an auto mechanic and it is a bit underpowered for professional everyday use. But if you want to install a TV mount or build a deck this tool is perfectly adequate. The triple LED lights are a great feature and the battery lasts a long time. Can’t beat the price.
This little 3/8’ impact wrench gets the job done, unbelievable.
When my air compressor deceased, I started converting to Dewalt 20v Brushless products. I needed to replace my 3/8" Air Ratchet (50 ft. lbs. of torque with 2.5 cfm@90psi I found this 3/8" Cordless Impact Wrench. I was stunned to see that this little wrench has 200 ft. lbs. of torque with a 12v battery. I thought this was a typo, I double checked and confirmed the specs, this was a no brainer.
I have a Mustang GT I work on & occasionally race, if you have worked on cars you know high torque impact tools are essential. I no longer need to tow my trailer to the track, I just put my cordless DeWalt tools in the trunk and go.
If your familiar with the pneumatic air tools you know they require at least 6.0.cfm@90psi to get the specified 400–500 lbs. of torque. A 3.0 cfm@90psi air compressor only provides about 200 lbs. of torque to a 400 lbs. torque to an impact wrench.
This kit includes all the goodies, batteries with fuel gauge, three-speed wrench with variable speeds and a hog ring, LED lighting, charger and case.
If you need an excellent performing impact wrench with very good specs. I highly recommend this sub-compact impact wrench.
I received this a month ago and brought it to work while I was building unistrut racks for conduit. The size was great for tight places and the power for tightening the 1/2 strut bolts was more than adequate. The 3 impact modes is a feature I haven’t seen before and it does come in handy for delicate situations. It would be nice if these new 12v came in tough system or tstak cases. Overall great product.
This is a great wrench. Very light and compact and will fit into tight spaces. With 125 foot pounds of torque it has amazing muscle for it's size. It comes with a kit bag, charger and two 2ah batteries. There is room in the bag to add a set of impact drivers, a set of impact sockets and a 3/8 to 1/4 hex adapter. Plenty of power for all the small jobs that don't need the awesome strength of my 1/2 inch drive wrenches. I have a 12v driver that I love and was happy to see the 12v with a 3/8 drive. Only one problem, the hog ring. It is hard to put on and take off attachments. If you compress it too far, it won't hold the sockets. If you don't compress it a little, when you remove the impact sockets you often pull off the hog ring. Would love to see this driver with a detent pin. By the way , I have two of these drivers and still strongly recommend them.
