Definitely worth the investment!
I gave it a year before buying one to see what everyone’s thoughts were. This saw is worth its weight in gold. We use it for our hardscaping jobs cutting wall block along with conduit and drain pipe. The ease of switching blades to cut different materials makes this saw very versatile. My only downside for this saw is the masonry blade. Just a heads up for you landscaping guys, it struggles to cut pavers. I know we can buy a different blade, but the DEWALT blade struggles cutting pavers. I highly recommend this saw to everyone.

Amazing Saw
Bought this saw a couple months ago when I started my business. As a young guy in the construction industry, I like to utilize technology as much as I can. Cordless tools are the future and Dewalt is leading the race. I love this saw, it is my favorite tool in my collection. Somehow I work it into every job I do. 10 out of 5 stars.

Bought this saw several months ago, seems like we always have it on jobsite, from remodeling to small concrete cutting jobs where gas saws are too heavy, would not want to be without it anymore, it has almost replaced my grinder with cutting wheel! a lot safer too!

Cutting metal studs all day!
My company has this saw & it is awesome, so much so that I am considering buying one just for my own personal use. I have already converted to much of the Flexvolt system tools & this might be my favorite one to use. Doesnt matter if you are cutting bundles of light gauge or heavy guage studs, hat track, L-metal or z-furring, this saw gets it done over & over. No need to keep a gas can w/ you or to have proper ventilation for clearing fumes from a running engine. I would advise any company needing use of corded chop saws or gas powered hot saws for metal framing to seriously consider this tool!

I like It
I'm doing a retaining wall with 4x12 block you have to flip it around to cut a full block but it works well. It cuts them well and cuts pavers that are 2" thick. comes with a water attachment def. use that when cutting masonry.
Anything much bigger than 4x12 it would be to difficult a that point in my opinion.

Describe Yourself:
Best New tool for masonry in years!
I've used this and the Husqvarna battery saws for the past several weeks. The Dewalt is by far the best of the two. I have 30 years in a a mason and I laughed when I first saw these. I'm not laughing anymore. I love this thing and if the company ever takes it away from me I'll go buy my own. They have their limits but are the best thing to grab to make block cuts or tooth in a door. The only limitation I see are having enough batteries to keep cutting all day. I hope to see an option to use this with a cord. Maybe an inverter that connects instead of a battery. That would make this the perfect option for almost all situations.
