    Awesome Product
I purchased this drill because my 13 year old DeWalt 1/2" spade handle drill had finally worn out. I liked it so much that I sent it in to be refurbished. In the meantime, I had to figure out how to get the remaining tenons cut for a log bed that would be a wedding gift in about 10 days. I knew that the old drill would not be completed in that time frame so I decided to purchase this new drill. It performed just as I expected and the bed was finished. Compared to my old drill, this one is easier to handle and I really like the variable speed trigger when it comes to making the 2" tenons for beds, railings and other wood products. The folks at CPO were very polite and informative which was very much appreciated.

    you cant stop this drill
I know I have alot of reviews on here about how great Dewalt tools are, and I mean every thing I have said about them all. This drill is a example of that. I have had drills break in the past(not dewalt, thats why I always use Dewalt) but this thing is unstopable. I have mixed up almost 300 5 gallon buckets of drywall mud with this drill & it still runs like i just took it out of the box. Its also perfect for mixing thin set for tile. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this drill for mixing. You will not find a better drill then this one.

    seems it will function satisfactory
seems a bit fast on the RPMs for drilling through 1/2 inch plate ,
would work better if top RPM was about half of what it is .

    New Vs. Reconditioned

What's the difference between New and Factory-Reconditioned?

Factory-Reconditioned products have been returned to the manufacturer and are restored to like-new operating condition; they go through a rigorous testing and inspection process. Plus, they offer a significant savings vs. new.
    • Reconditioned products may have minor cosmetic blemishes or scratches that do not affect item performance.
    • Reconditioned products may not come with all of the consumables the new version comes with (bits, sanding pads/papers, cases, etc.).
    • Both come with a manufacturer warranty and are covered by our Money Back Guarantee; New is 30 days, Reconditioned is 60 days.
