Please add temperature control
I install And maintain Audio Visual infrastructure and build various cable assets. I am well invested into Milwaukee product. A cordless heat gun is useful particularly climbing in the back of server racks and hard to reach places. For me temperature control is essential and just holding the gun further away is not suitable for my situation and others in my line of work. In such cases I have to defer to the corded version.

Great tool, convenient battery power.....
I have always hated corded heat guns due to a the inconvenience of the cord, chance of accidentally melting the cord etc. with this tool, it eliminates those issues and works perfectly.

I would not buy this item again
This product does not live up to what is advertised. Tried to heat up some heat shrink for 500 MCM crimps would not even make it soft. This is not a review towards the rest of milwaukees products. I am a huge Milwaukee fan and all the power tools and hand tools are Milwaukee. But this item doesn’t live up to the Milwaukee name. I’m am super disappointed in this item as I thought I would be able to heat heat shrink for cable connections without having to get my map gas torch out. Like I said this is not a review to bash Milwaukee just a review to lest people know that if they plan on using this item to heat, heat shrink connections for electrical use that it wil not do the job.

Gun does a great job on shrink tubing and heating up stuff. No, it is not as powerful as an AC chorded gun that will burn a hole through a wall, but it doesn't need to be for all the electrical and plumbing jobs, that doesn't need to "melt steel."

I like this heat gun, it works great
I needed a new heat gun for using when labeling wires with shrink tube. The took works well. It does go through batteries a little faster than I expected but still worth it. My only feedback is that I wish the TOOL ONLY came with the heat guard as this is a big part of using a heat gun.

Nice little heat gun. It's not crazy powerful, but its what you would expect for a cordless heat gun. I bought it primarily for heat shrink tubing which its perfect for.

it has it's place
I found this very useful and convenient for heat shrinking wires and removing stickers from my car. It is really ideal for the smaller projects that you just need heat for a limited space and time. It has a nice LED light as well which is a feature I’ve never seen on any other models. It has a much smaller CFM than the corded models so it isn’t the right tool for any job. That said, the convenience makes this a tool that is worth owning.
