Deep Snow:
Works great, starts on the first pull. Goes through deep snow great and throws a good distance. Be sure to get extra shear pins, I have medium sized rocks and this will shear one or more of the pins.

excellent, but discharge clogs
Like blower very much for past year. Have sprayed discharge shut. Read on line that the only way to stop clogging is to add rubber pad to impeller to reduce 1/2 inch clearance. Would be nice if you had pre-drilled 2 holes in 2 impeller blades, filled with removable plastic plug and sold rubber installation kit. This is all on line in u-tube. I plan to do myself or bring to shop. Thanks for opportunity

Snowthrower
After 1 year the unit needed a factory repair on the auger drive. After 6 years I have DIY repaired/replaced drive cable, auger cable and chute direction handle. The chute easily clogs with we snow. That said it does a decent clean-up on my 100" driveway and 150' sidewalk. It is a perfectly acceptable machine.

IS THERE A NEED FOR TIRE CHAINS?
STEVE F on Nov 8, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The tire chains will be optional. The manual does not list that the chains are needed for the thrower.
